The games were far more entertaining and really pushed the limits of the technology without sacrificing the gameplay (usually). The Switch at least looks unique with the Joycon that can slide on and off, but that's it. They all just lack either the visual coolness or fun that every previous system that came before them had.

Didn't have sixasis either.

I watched these kinds of vids as a kid when they were new and really believed them. It’s funny how gullible I was, but I kind of miss how optimistic I was as well. It’s kind of nice looking back at these vids now reminding us how TH-cam was back in those days, just pure stuff like this, no serious content creation and whatnot.
I remember seeing people doing similar stuff to the upcoming iPhones. They were basically as thin as glass while having holographic keyboard and much more.
