15:14 Gilgamesh hesitates to use Ea, because the thought of having to use his most power weapon is insulting to him. And that moment of hesitation costs him the fight.
Always love the part when Gil is like "oh shoot, I'm about to die, better use EA!" But Shirou is like "Nah, you had your chance" and just litterally dismembers. Not usually what you see in this type of situation lol.
In the VN there's a little bit of internal dialogue of Gilgamesh here, where he questions if he's really gonna have to use EA against a a joke like Shirou, that hesitation is why he's late in wielding EA and Shirou gets the time to cut off his arm. You can actually see his hand stopping for a second before grabbing EA, he lost because of that.
One funny thing here is Gilgamesh saying Shirou/Archer are just copycat fakes but in reality that only applies to their magic, dudes are fucking masterclass snipers if you give them a bow.
Did any of those reactors besides the ones i know noticed Archer calling her Tohsaka again like Shirou? Even when he reverted back in the movie, He called her Tohsaka too 😊
@@lordtouchme77 Well...in my opinion I don't think it's that hard to deduce that Archer didn't die from Gil's attack or that Lancer has a special characteristic that means he can receive a fatal blow and stay alive for a short period of time.. .but it is true that Ufo, beyond certain details with which you can deduce it, did not explain those parts... but I still don't think they are things of great importance in my opinion.
And that is why I have always recommended reading the visual novel first... even though Ufotable has done an extraordinary job in adapting its corresponding routes, there is an abysmal amount of material that for various reasons cannot be included in the adaptations and that can leave you with certain doubts.
@@AbrahamLeyvaPeralta yeah maybe for you novel readers doesn't have any problems with this scene because you allready read the source materials. But the adaptation still flawed and this is one of the most confusing moment for casual watchers because they think at this moment archer got plot armor 🤔 (the same problems happen in HF adaptation). As much as i loved ufo animation, when it comes to faithfull and good adaptation sometimes they miss... like this one.
Aoko Aozaki would probably just erase Gilgamesh's existence like he's a mere dust. Her prolonged use of using 5th Magic are accelerating the heat death of the UNIVERSE, and that's a side effect. Not even Astarte Origin which is a literal walking galaxy can do that.
I mean she could just do that but idk if would erase his presence in the throne of heroes to. Besides if I'm not mistaken her use of the 5th magic takes a little time to activate
People hype up Ea when the actual scaling should be True Magic ~ Avalon > Reality Marble > the rest. The fact that the World tried to crush RM constantly and fail, while Enkidu could just borrow part of the Counter Force and neutralized Ea speak volume how far apart they are.
Definitely wouldn't look as cool as Ea though. I swear some people in the Nasuverse are stupidly powerful for no reason not to mention impossible power scaling/balancing
A typical Servant's power comes from the Master, for example Saber, when with Emiya. Saber sucks But when coming to live with Sakura's cup Brutal, wrong story. If you watched the Heaven'feel episode, you should see the image of Saber as a very good Servant. Mana Burst is about combining all power and throwing it at once, but Shirou doesn't have a lot of mana to give Saber. can do that Enough to live with Sakura, who is a synthetic grail. The Grail is a good magic reactor. Dispensing power, Saber can use unlimited power as seen in Berserker and Raider fights, throwing mana bursts over and over, exploding mountains, burning huts, but in the case of the Guardians, it's different. The heroic Emiya doesn't need to rely on the power of a Master like Rin because he already has the power of Earth to help him directly. Although it may not be much Because it was summoned by the Master in the Grail War, not the summoned world directly. But it was enough to maintain its body for longer than a normal Archer class, even after the Master was dead. plus in being a guardian This means that the Servant is not set from the Grail. Grail is usually Will simulate the character for the Servant that is directly summoned, but the hero Emiya does not have to rely on the Grail Because the world will convey the stream of memory directly. Everything about the Emiya Hero, including the memory of every summon, will remain, unlike a normal Servant who, when he dies, goes back to his glory, the memory dies with the body. stored at the root but not put in the draft the next time it is summoned. It can be said that a typical Servant is a grade A copy of a real hero, but the Guardian is a copy of A+ grade, meaning that it has many advantages. Incidentally...even if the world saw that there was an incident that the Guardian had to intervene Even the mana of the Grail I can't fight the world. No matter how much mana the Grail costs a Servant, the Servant still needs a summoned master. Unlike a Guardian who even died The world will keep summoning if the problem is not over, or in some cases, the Guardian may not die at all. until the event is over (If the information is wrong, sorry, disputes can be made) sry for my English if wrong
Emiya has an Avalon sheath built into him, so it has the feature. To create blade-related weapons But with the inside of the sheath being empty causing the crafted sword to be hollow inside like his own ideals are hollow within It's the nature of emptiness [Kara] like Kiritsugu. It is the emptiness that causes the vacuum to nullify magic, but Emiya's is the void. with infinite capacity Create something you can add more and more. No matter how much you put, it's not full. However, there is no way to fill that gap. like a mission Archer must bear never ending For example, having to help one side fight the rebellion. Because otherwise there will be terrorism, many deaths, but after winning Must kill the same team Otherwise, it would wipe out all those suspected of treason like sowing. More and more dead people, sometimes being betrayed, murdered, silenced, or afraid of being betrayed.
So, if Gil says "I respect you, i'll fight with everything i'm have", you are dead... But he wouldn't say something like that even to Goku or Madoka. So...
no matter the skill difference between these two it should have never been a human winning over a servant especially when that servant is Gilgamesh, even if he hesitated gilgameshes arsenal should have easily overpowered shirou in an instant the plot armor the Shirou had for the whole UBW is crazy
Gil is not a servant anymore after Zero. He is a human just like Shirou. Ubw is also an extreme counter to Gil’s Gate of Babylon. You are also underestimating shirou’s magic. It’s quite overpowered. Even if he creates fakes, his fakes are just as strong and he also gains the experience of the wielder of the weapon he copies. Gil was gonna get cooked no matter what unless he starts the fight with Ea
@@eclipsewaves Huh? Did he got any of the logic defying, lore breaking, conveniently appear out of no where power like Ea, Enkidu or Prototype in Gate of Babylon?
Gilgamesh in fate stay night: gets a literal advantage over every other servant by having a living incarnated body and a stockpiled for decade mana of captive orphans. Defeats Medea, because instead of just teleporting away or using any of her countless hax, she foolishly decides to fake her death. Defeats Cu after a 12 hours duel, because Cu is literaly forbidden from defeating his opponnents via command spell. Defeats Herc by abusing his concern for Iliya. Has the gate of babylon as one of his powers. Literaly wins/survives every single fight he ever has in fate series thanks to some kind of hidden context if not sheer luck. Gets beaten by one opponent(Shiro) who's powers are objectively better than his. Dirrectly verbaly admits, that his opponnent is more powerful than him - must be plot armor, lol.
