Hey Ryan! You might remember me from several months ago about my visit to Cambodia. Now I am getting ready to move to Cambodia and can use your help in finding a rental place. I am in the process of selling my place. Once my place is sold, I will be on my way.
Great showcase! We're staying in Timesquare at TK currently and I must say for the price and quality, it is pretty good. TK feels a little more breathable on a living-basis but BKK makes more sense on an investment-basis.
This developer is reliable. I bought mine at time square 3 in 2019. While other developers stalled their constructions during covid. This one actually finshed before schedule.
Hi Ryan! I've got my ticket booked and I'm coming to live in Cambodia in November. I'm planning on trying Siem Reap first, but your videos are making me more and more interested in Phnom Penh. If I decide to give PP a try, I will get in touch. I'd love to say hi anyway!
The young lady explains time square building model sound she from the Phillipines. Beautiful building. Looking on renting something in Cambo too, so it's good to know who I can reach out to.
Thank you for this. But one thing I don't understand : the flats are eventually handed over with this (flashy,, exuberant) decoration, or just 'nude' ?
It is still available to buy? I am intrested in 1 bedroom. Agent offering me Time Sqare 8 project but that one is better location and should be completed faster. Could you advice me please
There are still units available. If you're interested, email me with your name, phone number, and what country you're from, and I'll let you know what's still available and more details.
The second one, the bigger of the two in the video, it comes in at around $100,000, depending on the floor. The smaller one is more like 85k. But I'm pretty sure there are only like 7 units left now.
There's quite bit luxury apartments. But not that much low and medium priced condos. Also most of the apartments are just money parked in dollars. They are not in rental market.
I like how a Cambodian developer doing big money projects in Cambodia had to go to the Philippines to find someone with the English skill to sell to foreigners. (And to be fair, she was pretty good at the pitch too, not just the language skills.)
I'm a little shocked. Calling the area BKK doesn't make it so and these are Bangkok prices for not Bangkok. Nothing like the lifestyle and amenities, nothing like the quality of construction and the hole at the end - hard to guess from a video but I venture the land is only 6-7000 square feet which is why its such a high density design. You're getting social housing size accommodation at villa prices. Now maybe the market in Cambodia is that overheated in which case fair enough but unless you're born or married there, there's better deals throughout the region.
It's always stupid to compare real estate prices to other countries. Bangkokian lives in Bangkok and pays the rates there. Phnom Penhers lives in Phnom Penh and pay rates there. And so on...
@@pp-bf2ec Yes but this video is for foreigners who are thinking about moving to Phnom Penh, not people already living there. So if someone is just thinking where to live in South East Asia, its fair for them to compare across the region.
@@RasheedKhan-he6xx Not necessarily. It's also for people already living here. Or who want to invest. Just look the first sentence of the video description.
She says she cannot promise that the condo will be completed meaning if there’s not enough inventors to buy the condo, they will abandon the project and move on to the next one . There’s no law in Cambodia to help you get your money 💰 back. These developers are protected by the elites. What’s the reason why the other condo projects didn’t completed?
I am a local here, and we are here seeing a crisis where most of the developers here are promising and can not deliver. those poor people with their hard earned money
PP is full of abandoned buildings…same as Sihanoukville. The build quality is poor & what do you do if your Visa is not extended. That stamp in your passport is your only way to be there. Piss off a neighbour, have problems with authorities & you’re screwed. There’s a reason places are cheap.
Thanks for showing us these new options and getting out there. It is much appreciated.
I like seeing the developments of these new buildings

Thanks for your input. I'd like to explore TK more. Looks like a pretty good area to live.

Very nice. Good to own for sure. All the best with purchasing one.

Sounds good. I think either choice is great.

Thanks for sharing! How is it with parking at these new condo developments? Are there parking and does it cost extra?
Most of the time you rent the parking space. Car parking is usually $20-$50 / month.
Car parking costs extra. Bike parking free. The first 4 or 5 floors are a parking garage.
Thats is a nice price, did you get the duplex prices?
Thank you for this. But one thing I don't understand : the flats are eventually handed over with this (flashy,, exuberant) decoration, or just 'nude' ?
Just white walls. Cupboards and closets are the same as in the video.
apart from the purchase price, what is a typical monthly maintenance fee for a condo like that?
$0,5-$3 / sqm, depending what is included in the management fee like it's called in Cambodia. Average is around $1 / sqm / month.
It's a $1/ sq m

very interesting.
Hello Ryan, nice video but can you confirm the purchase price(s) for the units? Thanks

That is wild to take a poop with all that glass in front of you
I'm going to have mine frosted.
I think lower price point buyers - esp. locals - are just coming back in the market, as they needed or still need time to recover from COVID.
Are you thinking of buying?
I’m great 😊
I would only buy if the project is 100% finish.
I totally understand that, but the downside is that you miss out on buildings like this one, which will be sold out before it's completed.
How do you scan the QR code in your video when my phone is busy with your video?
Just screenshot the qr and haptic touch on the qr it will pop up the ridirect.
That's why there's a link in the description too.
Correct me if I'm wrong, I was under the impression that there is a glut of apartments in PP, yet they continue to build more . What's up with that?
There's quite bit luxury apartments. But not that much low and medium priced condos. Also most of the apartments are just money parked in dollars. They are not in rental market.

Good way to clean money
Have you heard of money laundering ? SOUTHEAST ASIA is the money launderers paradise its lawless when it comes to banking and financial regulations

not really onto video topic, but how often is it raining over there in inner phnom penh?
24/7. 7 days a week. 365 days a year.
it sound like Pilipino (the lady) selling property in Cambodia.
Yes, you can tell by the accent and the really good English.
I wondered about these apartments. I keep getting fed their ads as penance for watching you and for riel too much I think!

Her English is so good. Where did she learn? Maybe India?
She learns in school.
She's Filipino
The interior design of the show units was pretty horrendous
Not a single joke in this episode. Disappointing.
The joke is on the buyers of the condos who never grt their condo or their money back.
