One thing that i feel should be mentioned is the points added into stamina is not the same as a giga, still has bad base stamina but levelling it up will allow you to sprint longer without needing to stop and rest.
Honestly spending most points into melee is a better option IMO

Great video as always! One thing to note though the rage is not based off of kills or the dinos size but the amount of hp the dino has. A dodo with 250k hp will give more rage than a giga with 10k hp for instance.

It seems like it's better for PvP only because it doesn't rage, but idk how easy it'll be to get that crazy buff
Surely you just rage gigs killing player and just spin the gigs over and over for easy kill without buff

dont worry. the megatribes will figure out a way to keep the buff perma.

I’d say the only thing holding the Charc back is it needs blood rage to do high damage. Without it char is easy to kill besides it’s base helth being only a thousand less then a giga
Sure it has less health and damage than Giga, however, Carchar's abilites are too good to be ignored
You forget that gigas are capped on official too, the strat will be stack bloodshed snd use for timed offensive counter plays
@@MajinStrach lets not forget, bloodrage is percentage based so the higher the melee on the carchar the bigger the buffs per stack which is absurd.
It feels like the developers decided to finally have fun and bring a fucking imba into the game. This is some kind of result of the copulation of Gigi, Deinonychus and Reaper
Wow they really made this thing OP holy fuck giga has better flat damage but I think this is actually going to be better overall with good breed lines these will be ridiculous and be more agile than the giga.

Im pretty sure the Carcha doesn’t get a damage debuff when attacking a golem
Yeah it deals full damage on golem, it can also harvest golem's body

Everyone's gonna call him trash but theyre forgetting the fact that you can just go pick up a wild one, with wild stats, and go on a rampage without actually taming one
The wild ones have good hp but that's about it it doesn't do much damage compared to tamed ones
I've found that after it's taken a certain amount of hits/damage he will dismount and attack you so wildcard already figured out that loophole.
considering how much damage a tamed one does specially if its max bloodraged, id choose that over the wild one as long term solution, but the wild one is good for emergency
@@Shinygati well you can also just lead it to an enemy base and once it dismounts you, you can just book it and leave it there to cause damage
the 1 thing i dont know and would be op is if car would have normal stat adding for example giga gets only a few % per lvl but carch can get more than that which would make this thing absolutely busted considering you can give it some points into health
I just realised, its more "increased metabolysm" than "increased healing", since it drains the food much more quicker

Imagine this thing on osds with mage buff and everything you would never be able to counter them they gonna have constantly the 100%buff and 1 tap rage any giga

imagine fighting a giga with this, even without rage buff, you still rage the enemy giga before dying, so you win.
gigas will only be useful in crouch defense or pocket dino

@@PBST_RAIDZ How long it take to cap it? 2 months? Since gen 2 show people went crazy tryhard. In first 5 years of the game all people worldwide made less progress in breeding for stats than in last 2 years. We have top stats and 100 colors dinos weeks after new map and dinos are released. Its crazy and sad actually. tryhard all the time

In any Giga fight it’s all about raging the other giga. On official the Giga will remain as King, but unofficial then the Carchar might win. Chomps are way faster with a rider then no rider. If all it takes is a couple chomps and it rages then the Carchar might win and be the new best.
But if you can keep buff up even on official it would still win, no?

if anyone knows, i would like to knwo the percentage per stack of each blood rage. video states its 2.75x damage at 100. would like to know at 1-100 if anyone knows
2,75% per level so at 50 stacks it will be 87,5% and at 10 stacks it will be 27,5%
What level of rage is needed to match the damage of a Giga? They start less and at max are more. Where is the break even point?

If you are fighting in pvp the Carcha will probably prove worse than a pocket Rex,
I compared the Damage of 100,8% giga and 100,7% Carcha
The Giga will deal 403 Damage, the Carcha 212.
We are talking more than 90% damage diffrence.
You need 51 Stacks with the Carcha too get 404 damage, if you kill a wild medium sized dino you get 2 stacks meaning you need too kill 26 trikes /rhinos / Thorny dragons too reach the damage of a giga. (582 damage at max stacks btw, which you need like 5 minutes too reach for we are talking less than 50% increase for full stacks)
If you are facing a pocket giga you dont have the time too go colect stacks its not happening.

Not sure how you calculatet the HP reg on the stego, but cakes can only restore a maximum of 2100HP over 30 sec. So where does the 2600HP value come from?
cakes restore 500 hp instantly + 10% hp overtime for a max of 2100 so 500 + 2100 = 2600. At least on official
Well, wiki says the 500 instant heal is no more and the max heal HP is 2100 over 30 sec. Not sure if the game knows about the patchnotes .
@@weigader even in video you can see stego restoring 400 hp instantly after eating cake (400 because of 20% healing debuff from carcha). Ark wiki is wrong very often

How much blood rage you need to be at a giga? Over 50 or you need the full 100?
I think you need to be at 45 blood rage because 100 blood rage gives the carcha 175 percent damage boost so 45 blood rage give the carcha 80 percent dmg boost which is the difference between the gigas damage and carcha’s dmg
For osds it could be good. On mts for example
Holy shit, welcome to Saturday night debate lads, I reckon the Carcha ain’t gonna have a chance in hell against an official giga for about a year until lines catch up, regardless of the reality that I doubt it will be able to rage a giga before it’s dead since it’s got lower base hp and a lower hit range lol, any who nighty night and don’t let the offliners bite ❤
Giga is still king the only way it would beat a giga in pvp is if its like 2v1 or something but 1v1 it will never beat the giga without the buff until the dmg gets high enough to rage the giga

It spawns anywhere Giga spawn, Giga doesn't spawn in Aberration neither is Carchar
If a carch gets enough blood rage it can kill a giga otherwise it will lose

@@bprobo24 OSDs are those drop pods on Extinction maps. They're the biggest PvE part of PvP.

Yea that regen buff would remove the need for the Carchar to have to take a healing break, though keeping the buff up would be a pain especially alone since between waves you need to kill at least something every few seconds to keep the buff
Honestly love the fact that this thing is literally a snowballing gigant and I can wait to get my hands on some good ones
Unfortunately Carcs seem like they're gonna be trash right off the bat. Individual abilities and buffs are nice but they really don't add up to much against the Giga it'll inevitably be put against. Building even 50+ bloodrage stacks would take far too long and that'd be to just equal the damage output of a Giga with the same levels into damage, which you're simply not gonna fight on official pvp. Official Giga stats are insanely high, Ark 2 will literally already be out by the time Carc stats equal Gigas on hatch and then again you'd still have to build 100 bloodrage stacks to get a measly 50% more damage? Keep in mind too that Carcs have slightly less hp, so even if a Carc and Giga DID deal an even amount of damage, the Giga is gonna outlast it blow for blow. Unless Carcs get some kind of buff to how long it takes to generate a max damage buff, it honestly looks like Gigas are still better. Carc bloodlines are gonna take months to catch up to Gigas (if they ever can) and in a fight all you have to do is throw out a Giga and wait 10 seconds, compared to throwing out a Carc, going around the map and farming 50-100 animals while the PvP is going on behind you and THEN coming back to fight.
The c spin and fact it doesn’t rage are things to account for pvp as well.
The bloodrage will increase Carchar's healing, so more bloodrage it got, the faster it heals, so no, in the fight between Carchar vs Giga, Carchar will outlast Giga, beside, while Giga is painful to tame since you need to prepare tons of tranq darts, for Carchar, you don't even need to use a single tranq dart and it is much easier to tame.
You're forgetting the one weakness of the giga, it can rage, so as long as these can eventually get enough damage to rage gigas, it will be a threat
@@TheXAllosaurus gigas on official after leveling have 2000+ melee, they do absurd damage, unless this guy can rage the giga, it's game over real quick
@@TheXAllosaurus Taming is irrelevant my guy, I'm referring to Official PvP. When I stopped playing I had a cryo fridge literally full of Gigas with 1000+ melee, and that was around a year ago at this point. It doesn't matter how hard these are to tame en masse cuz ain't nobody doing that lol.
i highly doubt the carcha will be the giga killer this test was kinda flawed for pvp as not only is the giga bigger and has more knockback but if ur in a pvp fight u dont have the time to get 100 bloodrage also mixed with the fact that the carcha has a much more annoying taming method it will probally get some use but it wont dethrone the giga is anything its just a stronger reaper without jump and sure it cant rage and in this test it raged the giga before dying but that was riderless a rider on a giga would back up and bite wich with knockback would make it so the carcha would hit it alot less
oh and the spins range is absolute trash reaper spin so much better
and also also slower bite speed and saddle takes chitin which for bps would be annoying also how rare are carcha saddle bps and how expensive will they be

games dead, they should probably focus on the cheating people using hacks instead of adding new dinos.
