pov: you are ‘XIII’
Robin’s latest performance concludes yet again amidst her usual shower of applause and synthetic roses. The grand hall of the Symphonia Opera House clears out in due time, leaving only a few number of remaining patrons… and you. Part of you was a bit disappointed that nobody still caught onto the act yet, and these observers, who call themselves ‘avid fans’ continued happily consuming the lie laid out before them on a silver platter. The Morning Star said they would, though your own patience with ‘Robin’ was already waning quite thin. Sparkle never had any sense of subtlety nor timing, and purposefully overstayed her welcome in this little role she assumed. The only part you liked about this arrangement was how powerless Raphael was to expose the truth behind the ‘Robin’ performing hollow renditions of beloved songs onstage. It killed him each time ‘she’ performed, and you loved every second of seeing such a divine being brought low, steeping, drowning in your own special brand of despair.
Ah, speak of the Devil - or angel. He made no footsteps when entering the foyer, even his own shadow seemed bright compared to the tar shroud bound to your feet.
“XIII” His voice is calm -barely- and still dignified despite the heaps of grief you have thrown upon him. “You have some nerve to appear before me again.”
“Hmph. Can’t deny destiny.” You extend out a hand to the Archangel, who took a step back expecting you to try something. He looks in partial disbelief, partial disdain, that you would offer him a cigar. “I had expected to see you sooner or later, Mr. Sunday. Or would you prefer I call you by your true name?” You retract the cigar and flick the zippo lighter in your other hand open with a satisfying clink. “I take it you haven’t told Michael anything yet?”
Sunday, or rather, Raphael looks at you with a most fatal glare. Even the eyes adorning the halo behind his head seem to narrow in disgust at your overtly flippant words. “Saturday,” the Archangel clarifies, “Is well aware of what you have done. As are Monday and Tuesday.”
“Mm, I haven’t seen Gabriel or Uriel in a while, now that you mention it…” You crack a wry smile and light the cigar right in front of Sunday and the sign plastered on the wall a few paces behind you explicitly stating ‘NO SMOKING’.
“Leave, have you any sense. Don’t make me hurt you, ‘Gallagher’.” Some hatred comes through this time. Hmhm. Good. You always made it clear to Sunday how attractive he looks with anger on his face.
“I’m afraid it is not yet my time.” You readjust your magenta tie and take a deep drag on the cigar, “The Morning Star has already told me. Xipe’s blessing, ‘The Dream’, The Family,” a devilish cackle leaves your mouth between puffs of slate grey smoke, “Even your little game of ‘house’ is failing, Rapphy.”
Sunday begins to seethe, not only at how relaxed you are about everything, but that you - a lowly demon - would even dare utter HIS name in the presence of an Archangel. You lean in close, near enough to smell his light amount of cologne scented like rain and vanilla, and place a small kiss on his cheek. Like Judas, sometimes you just can’t help yourself.
The Archangel recoils from your touch, as if your lips branded him with hot iron. On cue, the gold sliding doors at the entrance open again, allowing the multitude to filter in for the evening portion of Robin’s show. Ah… looks like it’s back to work. Knowing he cannot act against you with the eyes of many a passerby watching, Sunday recomposes himself and turns to walk past you.
“I’ve had enough of this.”
You cock your head to the side with an inhumanly large smile, “Come now. The next show’s about to begin. What kind of brother would miss his own sister’s performance?”

(SPOILERS HSR 2.1 QUEST)
We're in Penacony, a world entirely built in a dream that's slowly falling apart and we gotta know why. Robin, a singer, the star of Penacony was murdered and we gotta investigate her death. We're helped by a bunch of characters such as Gallagher (the man stepping on the other here) who seems to be a nice and ordinary policeman.
We discover the killer seemingly controls a beast called Death to murder his victims. Sunday, Robin's brother (the man on the ground) who's an important political figure of Penacony, has his suspicions on Gallagher, the nice policeman.The two of them have a heated conversation as Sunday interrogateshim. It is then revealed Gallagher is actually the killer and he murders Sunday by summoning ''Death'' when the later figures it out.
Crazy stuff was happening and then a background character steps out of nowhere as the main villain and a kinda significant character is laying there kinda dead

yes, things turned out differently... I was aware that it could change, but I really wanted to make this playlist seeing what happened at the end of 2.1 story >< after patch 2.2 we can say that it's more simply penacony playlist 🫶
