The only think that surprised me in negative way is the fact, that you've put so much effort to make such a nice, stiff, massive, rigid gantry and them pick such a shitty rail guides ffo the table. Gteat channel, and cast iron melting you did rocks!
I agree entirely. I actually re-used the old bed from my previous CNC. Ive actually cast and fabricated most of the bits for the new bed. Its alot stiffer and uses linear rails opposed to supported open bearings (like i currently have)
