Can someone sue a state organization (such as the Louisiana Board of Physical Therapy) for negligence after filing a claim against someone, having that claim generally dismissed/minor corrective measures taken, only to then have that doctor go on to assault multiple more victims, with him ultimately receiving a criminal conviction (for sexually assaulting something like 9 other women, but only lost his license with no jail time due to a plea bargain)?
My own case caused severe physical, emotional, and mental harm after having greatly injured my spinal cord and also set off major ptsd, which triggered other major chronic illness expression, resulting in complete disability for an extended amount of time.
I have no idea how to re-enter the workforce after ten years, but this really seems to be the main cause. He was only convicted within the past year.
