Pluto has been crossing my midheaven for a while and I have realized that I have been thinking recently that I have crossed into old age (I'm 83) and that I had probably done everything that I was capable of doing and learned what I was going to learn. However, in the last few days, I have listened to a couple of people (and Natasha is one) who have given me new ways to look at things, new ways of being. Now, I have to live to a hundred to manifest what I have learned.

This episode is REALLY helpful. I have been on a profound transformation since Pluto's ingress in Capricorn in 2008. I had my Saturn Return (in Virgo, 2nd house of values) in 2007 and that's when my soul healing and empowerment started As someone with both Libra (Sun, Mercury and Pluto conjunct in Libra) and Scorpio stelliums (with Venus and Moon in Scorpio), Pluto's transit in Capricorn has been about a) revealing healing truths, b) detoxification and letting go of toxicity whether that's mindsets or soul entanglements, and c) (in the last degrees of Capricorn, about) confronting my fears about (my) power. So the whole transit of Pluto in Capricorn (on my 6th house; I'm a Leo Ascendant) has been healing, purgative, and empowering at the soul level. Well, in Evolutionary Astrology, Pluto signifies the "soul's direction", and I truly believe this. Pluto embodies that fear and the empowerment that comes with having the courage and 'befriending' the fear, and healing soul wounds as a PREREQUISITE to claiming and stepping into your full power. In the last last minutes of this episode, what I'm partly getting from Amanda is the concern about avoiding a "spiritual ego", and the response was very apt. One can have mastery (Capricorn) of oneself and apply humility and patience (also Capricorn qualities) with others who are at their particular soul healing-empowerment stage. But I'm glad that it was also mentioned that as one ascends, others around us are also "carried" along with us because they are in our lives, in our midst not by accident but as part of Divine Plan and Timing. I also understand now that there's a "deceitful" or "confusing" nature to one's soul awakening because yes, the process is solitary because it's your sole choice to go through it and the struggle of the and for the change can indeed feel lonely too, but ironically, once you've chosen to undergo the soul awakening-healing-empowerment, the "effect" is that others around you are "affected" and they are also changed one way or another whether that's simply a matter of seeds beings sown in them, or that they also choose to do their respective soul healing-empowerment work. IMHO. Again, great episode!! Cheers!

I look at those parts and choose to relate to them differently. I no longer try to look at myself as healing or changing or fixing. Just relating differently. I look at my parts as each having a seat at the round table of myself. Each part gets a seat, no matter how I have previously related to it. This explains almost exactly how I feel and have been feeling. Cap sun and so , so over Pluto in Cap ! I have been feeling so ready to break out , move ahead ,and get on with it and I feel like I am trapped in a sticky web . It’s like change has been on the tip of my tongue and I can’t put it into words .
This was the best explanation of the Pluto transit I’ve herd. Things make a lot more sense now. Glad to know I haven’t been the only one experiencing this. I’m in the generation that has the Capricorn stellium + Capricorn ascendency 😮💨. Everything has been upside down since around 2008, when the transit began. I started seeing change when it dipped into Aquarius earlier this year, then life went backwards into chaos during the retrograde back n2 ol Cap! Praying the transit through Aquarius greets & treats us well!

WOW, so on point. Pluto moving into Aquarius creates a t-square with my ASC-DSC which is 1 degree Scorpio and Taurus, opposes my Saturn at 0 degrees Leo, and squares my Uranus which is conjunct my ASC at 1 degree Scorpio as well. I have felt blocked, but I know it is all me. What has helped me is taking personal responsibility for myself and surrendering into my flow. Choices based in love never need justified with stories but choices based in fear always do. When I find myself needing to justify myself, I know the guardians are at work and I love myself through the block and get back into my flow. Thank you. Such confirmation for what I have been personally experiencing. Thanks to astrology, I am ready for Pluto to help me own my power and spread my wings and fly.

AMEN! Just curious, did you experience a lot of loss-home, death of family members, having to settle for what was handed to you? This Capricorn has had a terrible time especially from 2016-2020 and yet another death this May.

My Saturn squares my Sun, so the inner critic and self deprecation has been a strong theme that I must continually keep in check. lol….yes, have had many, many, MANY lessons in transmutation thru out this lifetime.

Saturn transit seemed alright for me, current Mars, Pluto and Venus transiting, conjuncting, my 28 degrees Capricorn Venus, and 2 degrees Chiron, Aquarius intercepted in my 11th house. This Saturn discussion is very helpful for the transitions that have been going on, and will continue for a good while longer. 12th house and 1st house will be enlightening!!!

This is such a timely and brilliant conversation on the internal guards and self transmutation of these energies within us. Just the other day I pulled a tarot card from the Native American Tarot Deck and it was The Scout -the four of blades. It reads "The single most important reason that the Plains people finally surrendered and had their way of life altered forever was the extermination of the buffalo" - the guard of survival. In my personal experience, these guards cannot really be addressed until one's own psyche is ready to address these. Otherwise, it's the mind trying to figure out the mind which doesn't work. I have found no recipe book nor roadmap - though I've tried. It's not a race nor a marathon (the hare vs. the tortoise) either as this suggests some sort of destination at the end. I can best describe the process as a moment that builds its own momentum overtime.

Not good enough, don’t know enough, not responsible enough, can’t make a difference, can’t make a difference, who will listen to me, etc…..
I've been waiting for Pluto in Capricorn to get the hell out of my Natal 6th house of health and finish up the surgeries/procedures I've had to have from injuries since 2006! (Actually, the first injury was as a senior in high school in 1972). I've had surgeries since May 2022 with various post op periods afterwards. Natal Chiron at 24 Capricorn and Natal NN at 14 Capricorn......so it's been ongoing for lots of years, culminating the past 2. This Capricorn stuff is opposite my Cancer stellium in the 12th house. AMANDA- with your Sun and Venus (and other stuff?) in the 12th house, you really should read Carmen Turner-Shott's 12th house book(s). She's excellent and being a Virgo with 12th and 8th house planets et al, she's lived it all and her books and podcasts etc. are very practical. Carmen is an LSW and working with astrology for a few decades within her LSW field. Her books are on Amazon. Her first 12th house book opened my life for me! Anytime you doubt yourself, it's your 12th house/Neptune/Pisces influence.

I feel that although I do not have direct aspects, indirectly I have felt that although my sudden leap into my business was driven by a desire to help. Could be my 3 deg Taurus or my 11 deg Virgo/ Saturn conjunction. But how this resonates with me, is that I have felt for awhile that although I get I buzz from what I do, I don’t know that it was my path and infact Pluto went through my 4th house and now fifth house, which in turn had it has felt my children grew up fast and left me to fly on their own they are 21 and 19. It has felt like my guard has been actually made me question my purpose and motherhood versus my desire to build my business, and how yes there was a choice but I would often choose my career. So maybe another guard for me is regret, or sadness or guilt, and it is holding me back to reflect on the people I left behind.
I don’t know that’s how this episode made me reflect.
As Amanda was saying though, how do we move out of this box? Will clarity come when Pluto moves into Aquarius like a Eureka moment? Or are we to prepare for something else?

These guards are very much like protectors in IFS therapy, where we heal them and they then soften and stand down as a guard. It might be helpful to look at that in workingbwith these guards.

I resonate ❤❤❤❤ I was brought up in a highly egoic house and no one valued me and what I naturally had. It hurts so much. I am now an Astrologer. However always in my head pops up, I am qualified enough, do I know enough. I have chosen to trust but it is still difficult sometimes ❤❤❤❤❤. I hear you Amanda! My Venus is 27 degrees Virgo, Chart ruler Jupiter 23 Taurus that is part of T-Square with Mars 25 Leo & Saturn 28 Aquarius, I've felt so stuck, constant obstacles. Pluto is so powerful but subtle, even the trine is difficult it seems.
