MedGlobal volunteers providing OB Ultrasound Training in Pakistan

MedGlobal volunteers recently returned from a mission in Pakistan providing ultrasound training to local health care professionals. An antenatal team of physicians trained 16 local midwives, from The Indus Hospital, on antenatal ultrasound and obstetric emergencies.
MedGlobal also donated portable ultrasound probes, the ButterflyiQ, to areas with the greatest need. This hand-held, state-of-the-art technology can connect to a smartphone or tablet, giving low-resource areas access to life-saving diagnostics.
