- Today in this video I am going to make a high current battery charger for my big 150 ah tubular inverter battery. I am going to use a high current Computer UPS transformer for this project. You can also use this device for DC Motors.
It involves conversion of 220 volts AC to 12 volts DC using a transformer rectifier & a capacitor.

Yes the charger output of 14V was 10 to 11Ah, with the big loads shown the voltage drops substantially and just can be connected some seconds or everything would burn.

I got 3 batteries 2 of 12v/150ah and 1 no of 12v/200ah can I make it 24v 150ah + 12v 200ah = 24v 350ah
Superb! I can use this charger for charging my 200ah battery. BUT there is a condition the transformer coil will burn out if it over heats. So use low current transformer. But this a great video! 👍👍👍👍👍👍🥰

I like each n every videos of your posts.... But I have a problem with my diy 12v charger... I'm also using a ups transformer.... when charging the battery,the voltage keep on decreasing......... Is it that the battery are dead or ...... Any suggestions sir....
- make sure that you have used a rectifier of the capacity similar to or more than that of your battery.
- make sure that the connections of your charger and your battery are not in reverse.
- make sure that the output voltage from your charger should be more than that of the battery voltage (14.4v max) is safe and best.

Cheap bridge is poor quality, buy good diodes and do bridge yourself
