Bro, this is awesome! Great music, elegant and atmospheric visuals, perfect for an intro... could have been the actual game intro! 4:34 - 5:20 is just so good. I know it was probably a very ambitious project, and the game is not getting any newer, but too bad you cancelled. Now you got me in the mood to go re watch the films again

I have to apologize for that suggestion (thought about covering the whole game as some kind of illustrated audio drama), but sometimes i'm loosing my mind when i get overwhelmed by enthusiastic feelings. I should think first and write later. The work would have been more horror than Alien Isolation can produce (spending several months for 40 likes or whatever). Also the views of Alien Isolation videos are speaking a very different language, it's pretty much over yet. Did you see the view count on the x5 Nostromo video ? More than 160.000. This can't be replicated anymore. It's still the best cinematic experience of the game and will be. x5 did a fabulous (and skilled) job by editing it all together. I can't do that, no way.
@@galaxytraveler5779 You should be able to access the final elevator while in M2 or M11 through a checkpoint but i guess that there is nothing interesting beside a possibly missing Alien. M17 has only one checkpoint for reset to mission start.
@@maxheadshot3287 Thanks for replying, i spent last night trying but you are right.. was hoping i could take elevator to spaceflight and trigger a checkpoint from there and go back and maybe humans would spawn, but it seems that is not going to happen :(

I got a lot of respect for everyone there who did a great job on his field, even SEGA and Fox who financed this masterpiece. Sadly it won't happen again. Recently i watched a review of a new and relatively decent Terminator game, and my thought was: Do this in the same way like they did with Alien Isolation ! Nope, it won't happen. Alien Isolation was the result of some unique circumstances, a stroke of luck. Some things do not happen ever again, like Alien 79.
As mentioned in the description it was made at the counter of Harpers Diner in mission 2. A smoke grenade covered unwanted background. And some color correction was used.
Opening titlescreen to the unreleased sequel, Aliens : Confrontation. You get the Pulse Rifle, but with limited rounds, can kill the Alien, but against a large pack you gotta hide. You get the Smartgun with limited ammo (but not till the end of the game.) New items to craft: nail grendade, shock grenade, auto turrets. The plasma torch seals and opens doors. At least in my mind that's what I'd do.
Plus make the acid blood more deadly. Its fatality has been heavily toned down in the game. It is supposed to melt arms and faces, like in AVPR, making the monsters hard to kill. 😍😱😂
Really liked this but suggestion would be show less of full alien and more up close on its body highlighting different textures in different parts to make it more mysterious and elusive
Thanks, i like substantial comments like this one. It's possible and a valuable creative idea but way more difficult to make, especially with a moving Xeno.
I know (it's simply Arial) but the tool i use is very very outdated and honestly i'm too lazy to learn how to use an up-to-date one. I guess my tools are as outdated as the technology on Sevastopol. On the other hand even a perfect video wouldn't win any oscar, right ? (or even a single penny, lol)
How do you swap the intro video for Alien Isolation with a video? I also wanted to swap out the "sample idle video" that plays when u dont start the game.. I need a converter that converts a video to that format ..... then need to know how to either add it .. or just swap it out.
