*Sorry for the late reply; TBH, for the last 2 years, I've used the cracked version. Currently, I'm using the paid one, and I've got to say that the optimisation is just too good. If you are planning to buy IMO, I would suggest the creative cloud plan, which includes not just after effects but almost every product they are offering.
