      Thank you! I try to show it so that 1-you know what to do when it happens and 2- to show that almost every soap mishap can be saved.

    Great tutorial, I have been doing CP for about a couple of years and tried my first batch of HP recently and I gotta say I love it. I think outside of trying certain designs I will be sticking to this. Thank you.

    This is a pretty good step by step...from someone who has made soap, sending to someone who wants to make soap. I was concerned about your lye "measurements" though.....sprinkled straight from the container.....did I miss something?
    Overall, thanks for this vid.

    I am making a ton of soap right now for bartering when SHTF....people will still need soap, and I will be able to make it and trade it for stuff I need :)

      Hi, I'm curious what your plan is long term. Will you be stocking up on a ton of caustic soda/lye? Or will you learn how to make it or alternative techniques to making soap. I'm going to be doing some research and I can share some information with you if I find something interesting.

    You are easy to watch, going thru steps without making it lengthy, so far, I have only made solid color soap, after watching this video, I'm going to make the swirl soap.

    Thanks for excellent tutorial, great details. One question, how did the soap mixture remained hot and continued cooking? did you have the pot on a hot surface of an electric cooker?

    Thanks so much for this video! I have been making soap for about six years but I have been making "On the counter hot process" or what some call "high temperature HP" for about two months now and ABSOLUTELY love it!! I love how easy it is (even though it is an advanced technique) and LOVE the way the soap looks after it's done... more so than even cold process! :)♥ There has been no issues with doing swirls or anything else that you can do with CP. I don't even know if I will go back to CP to be honest! I am just surprised at how few videos and tutorials there actually are out there. I am thinking that it is because it is an advanced method because you are working at such very hot temps but your soap looks wonderful and thanks again for sharing!

      Ive only made HP a couple of times and both have been in a crockppt. Do you find this way is easier?

      @@mochs62512 I really do but you just have to be very careful because the batter can get up to about 220 degrees doing it this way. Do your research, be careful and go for it! 😊

    I was worried about the consistency of the gel phase on this potassium hydroxide / salt coconut oil soap we're doing, but it looked identical to yours, so my anxiety has been reduced lol!

      I just found this video and the soap looks very pretty, but i almost had a heart attack seeing that much Lye going into that water without a scale underneath.... It it was a LOT of lye.
