    Context API can cause performance issues, it re renders every component that uses Context on each global state update, even if component itself does not use updated values. It updates your component even if you use memo. So there is no way that context API is a substitution of Redux and it was not designed as such (at least yet), if you do not like boilerplate that Redux creates, that ok just go and choose other state management library, but please read docs before rewriting your whole app

    This makes me realize how stressful interviews are. I'm stressed for him. Even though it's not a real interview, you can see when she starts asking React questions he gets super nervous!

    So if I am applying to no less than 10 jobs everyday, would that mean writing 10 different cover letters everyday?

      Yes, but I rarely write cover letters. I'd focus more on your portfolio and resume than cover letters.
