Am I ready for a React interview?
What questions come up in a React interview anyway?
I'm a little nervous! What is the format going to be like?
These are natural questions we all ask at one point or another.
While no one can predict how your specific interview experience will pan out (it'll be a little different each time), we connected Stefi ( / stefania_rosca ) and Cassidoo ( / cassidoo ) to participate in a realistic mock React interview, so you can test how you measure up and get some idea about what to expect.
    IMPORTANT TIMESTAMPS
    03:03 Beginning of the interview
25:47 Cassidy gives Stefi her feedback
33:08 Goodbyes, and a little more insight from Cassidy 🤔

The interviewer did a good job at trying to focus on data management / state management aspect of React. It's extremely important to understand the uni-directional data flow and state management for large/complex products and features. It goes much deeper than just using redux/flux into understanding optimizations and scalability. My feedback for the interviewee would be and these are just my opinions.
    1. You could have asked more questions to get a better understanding of the initial ask. Sometimes solving a problem doesn't necessarily mean dive into it, a more optimal way is to ask questions first to solve it more efficiently.
    2. Also be careful on saying absolutes. I think you mentioned during the interview that one thing was 'not the correct way' and left it at that, but you could let us know why you think that is not the correct way.

Cassidy is awesome!! the interview process is very stressful to beginner and I know this is just a mock interview but if this is how Cassidy actually interviews candidates then I wish every interviewer is like her in making the candidate as comfortable with the process as possible.... I've had a fair share of interviews and some of the interviewers were just awful to deal with

This is the interview should be rather than asking direct definitions to the candidate :D . I think u guys done a great job to made it possible to watch for us. I really appreciate the way the interviewer asked and questions and for sure the candidate performed well. :)

I enjoyed ever second of this interview and I think it’s a wonderful experience. The fact that I can relate to most of the questions and provide a typical answer is just everything for me. I’m super excited to see this and it also serves as a check for me too.
    More of this please ✅✅✅
