RE 4 Remake can run quite well on 1050Ti if you drop shadows to low and keep everything on high. Shadows are the most demanding setting in that game.

GTX 1060 3gb was a costlier card. Vram is not everything. Especially today we have ddr5 Ram which is as fast or even faster than vram on these GPU.

A big jump would be comparing 1050Ti to 1650 or 2060

And some are complaining that 8GB of VRAM is not enough. This is proof that 4060 (8GB) is superior to 3060 (12GB) despite having less VRAM, same as 1060 3GB is superior to 1050TI with 4GB.
the 4060's problem is not the vram, it's that it is almost identical to the 3060 in raw power, it only defeats the 3060 because it has dlss3 and frame generation, also you need a lot of vram to play on high textures, high shadows, ray tracing, dlss, frame gen, so 8gb are very little, 12 would've been much better

Iam playing resident evil 4 remake in gtx 1050Ti 4gb and i got 60 fps in low
same here is so smooth on low on my side 1050ti 4gb and also some settings are high
