Thx for explaining the next 291 project because I did not listen in class
I still don't know what exactly I'm supposed to do lol
the best uni vlogger uploads again!!! i look up to you and hope i get into ubc next year :)
Awwww thanks so much! And best of luck to you :)
Well done! Outstanding and informative video (and videos). Best of luck with your studies, and much success in the future!
Thanks so much!
Good job! Keep studying hard after the reading week!
Thank you!
Hey! High school student here. Its very interesting to see how your life goes in this video. I'm a grade 12 student looking to get into engineering and this helped me gain a lot of insight on how my days will be going. Keep on making videos like this!
Thanks for watching!
love the vlog
Thank you!!
Great job man, Keep it up❤
I appreciate it!
I really like your videos, keep up the good work
Thank you very much!
SLAYYYYYYY KING!!
Ty ty 😌
MY FAVOURITE TH-camR UPLOADED AGAIN 😎
I feel honoured 😌
Hope you are enjoying your courses. Every UBC department should have a video as informative as this.
Thanks Derek! I hope CIVL is going well for you too!
Also love the fact that you respect your sleeping time.
My goal is 7 hours a night, 10pm - 5am 🫡
I have been considering doing electrical engineering as I am now completing my grade 12. So you have been my motive and I am about to take a full decision
Hope it's the right choice for you!
Hey Avery, great content - your discipline of consistently waking up at 5am is inspiring. How much do you typically study on weekends, and how has your workload changed as you've moved into core EE classes?
Thanks for watching! On weekends, I typically don't get much work done because I usually have work on Saturdays and then a design team meeting on Sundays (partly why I try to get as much work done as possible during the week on campus). Even though we technically have "less" courses this semester, our core EE classes are definitely a lot more demanding than previous classes
The vlog is very awesome.....I am a final year student in electrical Engineering and it feels good to relate to the stuff in ur vlog....very awesome ❤
Thanks for watching! Do you have any tips for 3rd and 4th year?

Hello! Fellow 2nd year engg student here, but at a different Canadian uni. Good to see that the suffering is more or less universal regardless of where you're attending lol.
I'm surprised that you can find time to film, script, and edit these pretty quickly - I've tried doing something similar myself and it took way longer than I thought. How long do you think the whole process of making and editing this vlog took, and what editing software do you use?
These vlogs are always an exception in terms of how fast I'm able to get them out because I always edit them during our midterm breaks during each semester.
Scripting took about a full day to write (the script was 4400+ words lol), voiceover recordings took a few hours, and editing (I use DaVinci Resolve) took about 12 hours in total. I would never be able to do these consistently unless there were no classes every other week LOL
Thanks for watching, and good luck with your engineering studies!
Keep Going My G 😁
Thanks! 😎
LEGEND
😌😌😌
Im in second year ENGG at UAlberta, we just learned Laplace today loool. Also have a technical writing course too
Interesting! Does UAlberta's engineering program differ in any major ways compared to UBC's?
I like ur vids and i think u look much better with the messy hair
Thanks! I really hate it when I don't do my hair though LOL
Man you make me enter to electrical university in Syria thank you ❤❤
Good luck with your studies!

I am second year electrical engineering and i truly enjoy your videos, would you please share your circuit analysis notes
Thanks for watching! Unfortunately, I don't share my notes with others, I hope you understand.
Yeah 🎉
b4 u mentioned it, i could already tell the elec 281 prof wouldnt be as good. cant even explain why, i guess its my pattern recognition or my instincts.

He was using his phone AND his iPad at the same time at some points
WELL YEAH MAYBE IF YOU PLAYED I WOULDNT HAVE TO 😭😭😭
If I ever get 100% on an exam, I'll download it
What’d you end up getting on the midterm?
Hasn't been marked yet, but I'm hoping for 30% after scaling 🙏
Update: midterm marks came out. My raw score was 45% (average was 49%), scaled score was 56% (scaled average was 60%). So, safe to say it was pretty bad for me 💀
What’s the professors name? Who has TH-cam videos on electronics.
His name is Dr. Luis Linares, but his TH-cam channel's name is "rolinychupetin"
