    Layperson here using points for acupressure. I must say I've looked quite a bit to find guidance in locating this point and your video is without a doubt the best I've found. Thanks so much!

    Yay! I look forward to any back shyu points that may happen in the future.

      The back Shu points are always tough - improving palpation skills on the spine is the best way to get better at finding these points. Watch for my upcoming course "Anatomical Palpation for Acupuncturists" - coming this year!

      Hello again! I have finally completed my lengthy palpation course - but I also have a mini-course available on "Just the Spine". Check it out here if you are still interested - tinyurl.com/yrwd8yhc

    Niceee...Will be the same for both legs and how many times a day and how long to do the acupressure? Thx

    • @acupuncturemasterclass
      @acupuncturemasterclass  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes, it is the same process for both legs. As for acupressure, there is no specific guideline as to how frequent or long one should press on these points (different problems may require different amounts of stimulation). The main thing is to make sure you are stimulating the area strong enough - not so much that it is painful but it has to be noticeable! I was told years ago that members of the military in China would stimulate this point by tapping their knuckles into this point - kinda like "knocking on the door of ST36"! I hope this helps, Layla!
