Where are the home owners? They should be there cleaning up all the trash or be fined and jailed for causing an ecological disaster.

everyone is so concerned with the NATIONAL seashore , protecting its indigenous birds and sea turtle nesting sites, however the state allows these homes to fall into the sea and litter the shores. destroying these nesting sites and making beach access impossible and unsafe.
the homeowners should be made to remove the derelict homes before this happens. there was time to do this. at the very least the state should pay to remove it and then bill the homeowners for restitution.

Some idiots are going to say "global warming and sea level rise." What really happens is beach erosion, people building too close to the water in the first place and local zoning that allows it. Been happening for as long as there have been beaches. God bless the people who are losing their homes. May the people behind them get a clue and do like the other guy said. Move your house.

I wonder how many owners bought a house in such a dangerous place, influenced by silly TV shows like "we buy a house on the beach". Sometimes I watch and wonder what you need to have in mind to buy a house in such a place and at a very high price. One decent storm and the owner is left without a home.
