The 3DS was fantastic! My favorite game for it was Luigi’s Mansion 2 and I played it so often back then in 2013. I completed the whole game in some weeks. Also great during that time was Super Mario 3D World for the Wii U. I loved that level design and the soundtrack.

The PS3, Wii and Nintendo 3DS (Which I got a bit later in childhood) hit different back then. Games like Wii Sports, NHL 12, Yoshi’s Wooly World, Mario Kart Wii, the classic Battlefield, Lego Batman, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire were all I used to play back then. The shows, like Total Drama, Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, Regular Show, Gumball, they all and still are the best Cartoons I have ever seen. The books (I was very nerdy, and top of my class), like Percy Jackson, Big Nate, and a whole bunch of adult books just were plain amazing. The food…perfection. The Nostalgia I get from these things brings me back to the third grade, back when things were simpler.

I havent watched the video yet but first thing that comes to mind when i hear “nostalgia” is me playing pokemon platinum as a kid, and my brother had pearl, I remember he was 6 and called his Chimchar “fire monkey”, I always thought that was cute. I also remember I beat Cynthia FIRST TRY as a kid. I wish I can remember my team and their levels, all I remember is that i had Empoleon as my starter, a Rapidash, MAYBE a Staraptor and MAYBE a Luxray, dont remember about those 2 or the rest of the team. I still have pokemon platinum and my brother still has pearl, and I deleted my save file to start a new game and my brother to this day still has all his old game and save file.

I remember a book that was similar to a Where's Waldo book. It was the same concept: looking for stuff in pictures. It was Christmas-themed. It may have even been made by the same people. One of the images was of a forest of candy canes, one with vertical stripes instead of spiral ones and a word bubble that said "Something must have gone wrong"; another one with polka dots instead of stripes and a word bubble that said "I'm not myself today"; and a small one that was pure white and had a word bubble that said "I'm too young to have stripes." That book also had a picture of elves making wreathes on a sort of assembly line, and another one of multiple Santas on different roofs, all of which had word bubbles which said "I'm not real" except for one, whose word bubble said "I'm real."
