It is about 20 thousands kilometers long in total, according to Wikipedia. Too expensive and not necessary to fix all. But, many different parts of great wall have already been properly repaired. These well repaired parts would definitely be a great place for a several days' hiking. You are very welcome to come China and enjoy your hiking on great wall.
