Lot of people hate on third but I found it hilarious. And the cameos in that one I think you will love. These movies are supposed to be fun.comedy horror movies.

Three is equally silly and self-referential and mocks some of the craziness that surrounds writing the scripts for these movies and *keeping them secret*. I actually think four is the worst one, none of the characters aside from Sydney, Gale, and Dewy are likeable at ALL. But you should form your own opinion about the movies- that's why we like to watch you!
The original script for this movie was to have three killers Derek,Hallie, and Mrs Loomis. However the script leaked online and they had to change some parts.
I agree, the reveal wasn’t as good. I think it’s because in the first you could guess the killers but the real twist is that there is two. That’s a twist that makes sense. Here you could maybe guess the killers but you are taking a shot in the dark at the why. Mickey maybe with the movie references and that sinister Raylan Givens “I just look like I can kill a man” aura, and Mrs Loomis I guessed because I knew Laurie Metcalf from Roseanne and she was too well known for the bit part, but her being Billy’s mom was too left field. Billy had the maternal abandonment motive but it was pretty inconsequential to the whodunnit. This took a lot of guessing out and it was less fun

What gave it away that it was Debbie Salt/Nancy Loomis was that you can hear a female growl when Dewey gets killed.

You need to do all 6. Three is largely considered the worst one (still good though). Four is very good. Five and Six are the real true surprises.

Scream 3 is probably the weakest in the series. 4 , 5 and 6 are all solid though
