Drop 10 Last Resorts are the way to go if you have Last Resorts. I had a pair of earlier versions and had problems with the soles being too thin and because of that sizing was off. They corrected many issues with drop 10 including construction of the shoe itself. I skipped previous drops and waited for drop 10 and so far, so good.
I've got two pairs of drop 10s (VM001 high/suede/black and VM003 low/white/canvas) and both fit really well. And I personally prefer that bit of free space in the highs because they are more pointy in the toe so my fingers don't feel compressed at all.
I just bought my first pair of Etnies and I love them. I always disliked the giant E on their shoes so that prevented me from buying a pair, but all I did was use a seam ripper to take the E patch off and they look great without the branding. DIY your shoes as well y'all!
According to their website, they only go up to US size '13'. Oh, well. I liked how they reminded me of old Visions, and their soles, original Airwalks.
Fallen, Emericas and Etnies are my favorite skate shoes. i really dont ride anything else, because i dont see the point in switching to different brands you may or may not like... i like to say... 'if its Not Broken, dont fix it' and thats how i feel about the brands i like to ride for
I’m done with Last Resorts, I have the blue and black ones from drop 5 and they bald so hard on the outsole in one month. I bought the Chris Millic pro model from drop 10, and its honestly AWFUL. Only after a month of having them, the midsole is separating from the outsole! Im not the only one who is going through this either, my homie has the black Chris millic’s and the same thing happened to him. The outsole still is trash with this drop! I am never ever buying last resorts ever again. I just bought those all black All timers fast break converse, and it’s such a superior shoe compared to last resort. I really was into Last Resort, but after having two pairs that have major issues, I can’t support this awful shoe company anymore.
Maybe they were defective I know how you feel though I bought pair windrows from etnies that the tongue ripped out in less than a week and than I found a two pair of es accel slims at my local shop that the glue stitching was defective on luckily I didn't have buy them got to see it first but that's the weird thing I'll had pair of joslin vulc that were completely fine than found a pair accel slims thet were fine too I want support core brands but stuff like that is inexcusable I don't all company's are free of defects but its kinds ridiculous when it's that common

I love Last Resort. Pontus is my favorite skater and video maker ever. So I tried them immediately. All I’ve worn since.

Do the insoles pack out over time? I got a pair and the insoles are really soft not unskateable tho
I compared brand new to 1 month old, not to much of a difference. I got used to the softness.

Yes, I sized down in the past and they were too small. They're a bit skinner then vans for example.
Someone else reviewing Last resort shoes, said the VM3 toebox is a bit wider than the the VM1. Is this true?

Don’t! The midsole separates from outsole on the latest drop! They are really poor quality on this latest drop, don’t believe the hype.

That happens to me all the time on vans. I have not had that issue with the chris milic shoes
