Thanks for all your great videos, so informative and fun to watch. We enjoyed this video since we rented a place in El Faro for three months the first of next year. We are so excited and totally love Puerto Morelos. We stayed at Alborada earlier this year but think El Faro looks a lot nicer. If you know can you let us know if the Collectivo comes near to El Faro. I have difficulty walking much distance but enjoyed the Collectivo especially the price. On our first ride we asked where it was going and he said Playa and we assumed the beach, lol we were surprised when we ended up in Playa del Carmen…..had a great time and laughed at ourselves. Hope to run into you guys next year. Take care and keep making those videos.
HI Sarah. Im so glad the videos are useful to you. The LOCAL collective stops at the top of the hill. I found a good map of the routes on a facebook group. If you send me your email address I'll send them to you. I heard they just got 2 bigger buses as well. We will be back there in December for 4 months, and will be stayimg just up the road at Palma Grand. Take care. You'll love it
HI Sarah I just heard they changed the collective route. There is a new housing complex just across the road from El Faro. Now the bus will stop almost in front of El Faro gates

The collectivo stopped at the intersection at the top of the hill, a 3-minute walk from the main gate. But I heard it now goes to Selva Escondido properties. so, it may stop closer now. Thanks for watching our videos!

The Airbnb was approx $500 a week CDN, and we booked it for 3 weeks. We didn’t have a car, as we walked most of the time. We found food was about 1/2 of what we pay in Canada. Restaurants on Colonia side we’re about 1/2 of Canadian prices. Restaurants on the beach side were close to what we would pay in Canada.. collectivo to get around Puerto Morelos is 10 pesos, to get to Playa Del Carmen is 30pesos. I hope that helps 🌞

lot of walking. Unit 22 or 23 It was a great place.
Yea we did a lot of walking too. I think next time I would rent bikes too. Hope you get to come back and enjoy Mexico again
