I love these types of streams. Just Nyan, Mouse, and Aethel being chaos incarnate, while the straight man(usually Connor, but Sykkuno works just fine) just has to sit there and try to untangle their nonsense. That, and Darktide apparently makes for a great near-mindless chatting game.
It´s so amazing seeing some of my favourite Content creators actually playing my favourite games. I was already hyped about Nyan and Aethel playing Vermintide, and now they play my NEW favourite game XD Life is good sometimes!
i'm the resident warhammer fan in my group of friends. And really, if they're not into reading, or lore videos, they'll never have more than passing interest in it. There's just soooooooo much lore.
@bigbakaboon yeah thsts the trouble I have getting people into it. It's also the most hilarious part since lore density is something that drew me into 40k in the first place.
@@RadicalStreamin my first job was working in a library so i wasn't really doing much, whenever i had downtime i would read the 40k wiki or lexicanum. so yeah, that was my initial primer, people don't have the time for that shit now that i'm closer to 40
I hope that Athel can invite connor too to play dartide, i think he would enjoy a gameplay focused in coop hordeshooting, basically thats why he enjoys modded minecraft lol

I hope this finds Aethel somehow. You can actually clear a Low-Intensity Damnation (Level5 Difficulty) game with randoms quite easily. The people Playing T4 are not ready, but the T5 guys know what they´re in for more often than not i find. I actually enjoy it, but the playstyle changes a bit. If you play it down like a SWAT game, for example Ready or Not, and you know the basics of that, it is quite chill actually. You basically:: 1: Break into a new Room/Area TOGETHER, never alone 2: Kill everything! Prioritize according to the Danger it poses to the group. 3: Scavenge the cleared Area 4: Get in position to Break into a new Room/Area If you do that and make no ROUGH mistakes Damnation Low INtensity is quite enjoyable, still kinda hard. Haven´t tried the regular one yet, or the Hi Intensity, for that matter, but i´m excited to try some time.
They have a lot to learn, even Lord Aethelstan, I could easily give a few critiques on his melee skills, but I mean what can you expect from some very new players. I'd say its more that they over estimated their abilities, like Mouse just finished the tutorial, and dragged her into a level 2 off the bat, but even they realized that and adjusted.
Honestly it's not that bad, you just need to not be loose with your ammo. Bolter is powerful but only 75 shots at max ammo, and Aethel hip-fired 4 shots into a single normie cultist on several occasions, when a single shot is a kill with the bolter 😛 autoguns get more spare ammo, and lasguns get tons of ammo
So a few things: 1) All 4 are using ALOT of ammo consuming guns. Ideally a team would have one or two frontliners to attract the hordes' attention. 2) The Veteran has passives that replenish ammo AND increases how much they carry 3) Ammo is more abundant in comparison to Vermintide! You just gotta explore and open those boxes! 4) A ranged playstyle is absolutely viable for the Veteran and Psyker! Unfortunately the Preacher and Ogryn need to be in melee to truly shine due to their passives and abilities.
I read this old book talking about how art is so bad blah blah blah. But it made me realize that spoilers do not matter, especially if the art itself is good. It also made some good points on how music persuades someones emotion towards the art, etc. My point is that if the art is good, spoilers should not affect the overall experience.
Yeah I've started shows like avatar and stranger things watching finales of seasons with friends and having seen what would be considered spoilers to a lot of people I was actually interested in checking out the rest of what was created because of that

Seems this game needs to give out way more ammo
Scarcity is the point, they don't want you relying fully on your ranged ability. Need to be able to balance out using your gun while also using melee.
