Correction: Unlocking Amelia does not unlock her associated adventure. It requires paying real money for the campaign, because I have Amelia with no campaign. But I really hope they add more content variety in general. Even if the adventure COULD be purchased with MM for free, besides being down on MM, I still don't think the campaign would be enough, just it wouldn't sting as much for F2P players like myself if the campaign could be bought with MM. I also don't like how inefficient PvP is for grinding progression in general, grinding the prologue is really boring.
I don't expect the adventure to be unlocked with Amelia (since you'd get some MM back and it would become a really good deal to buy her first) But just locking 90+% of the PvE content behind a paywall? That's ridiculous
Battles 2 luanch felt bad because the game was overhyped, everyone wanted to try battles 2 an play it, not many prople even knew about bcs and mist people that heard/tried don't like card games so thats why they left/didnt feel like playing it
ngl, the remaining balance complains once ggb and druid got nerfed are literally exclusively noob traps, yes the cards are sorta strong, but any card game will always have some cards countering others and just because an 8 cost card countered something you played doesn't mean it's broken, that's how a meta developes with different playstiles like aggro, control, midrange, combo, tempo, etc, all of which simply have their specific matchups into eachother and some of them being bad is just sign of a healthy meta
I thought Ninja Kiwi learned grinding in Battles 2 was horsecrap but nope here we go again with dozen of different crap tokens and expecting everyone to the RNG SHIT.
ngl the grind was not that bad for me. Im f2p and managed to get a solid deck that's like 95% of what I enjoy playing within a week of getting the game. Sure I don't have a fully fleshed out tempo and control deck, but my aggro deck is basically where I want it. Dailies give a lot of monkey money which can be used to purchase currency and random cards (the rng is annoying ofc but each deck has a lot of potential cards that are good in it). Getting Amelia and Obyn took me like, a couple days considering the game also has codes.
@@aqz7603 yeah, maybe it's just me preferring a slower game and not you know, blast swarms of bloons and call it quits. preferred the back and forth in the slower decks. kinda waiting for engi monkey for the bloon trap/cleansing foam stuff. *turn 5 bloon swarm with embiggen/bolstered bloon is kinda bruh. but hey, it's not like there's no answer every game. then again half the cards in this game right now is filler or just not it. like hey, have the biggest and rarest monkeys in the game affected by shrink/nego.

Over all this is all my opinions and you can chalk it all up to me having a skill issue but when i spend 100's of hours mastering a game, then the game under the same brand I have 0 skill in, is just frustrating. A few points I would respond to: For #1 and #3, in my opinion I thought some players find the pace of Battles 2 too fast for their liking, and I would imagine those players would like this more because of its more relaxed pace. I still think it is a tad slow with the first several rounds in particular. For #5, I do think the tutorial should cover more advanced topics in the future, like deckouts make you automatically lose, maybe some effect showcases, etc. For #7, I had an idea in mind to make the RNG more balanced. Every card would be weighted based on their cost, and the cheaper it is, the more weight it has thus the more likely it is picked (more like a reverse weighting system, was thinking something like 25 - cost per card). Since in the early game your gold increases at a slower rate, you would be more likely to receive the cards that you can actually afford and not have to risk wasting a turn. Conversely, if you're in the late game, you don't have to deal with capping your gold as easily because then once all the cheaper cards will be used up then it'll be mainly the more expensive ones. For #8, holy crap is this game facing a mass exodus already. Molt made a separate channel for BCS two weeks ago and it is only at 100 subs. ;.( I had this video made days in advance and it has gone downhill so quick it's insane, just look at any other big BloonsTuber and you'll find that those vids don't get that many views anymore. Even Fry Em Up, who really thrusted this game in the spotlight initially, has stopped playing.
1: I mean yeah, its a completely different genre 2: the starting cards are honestly fine. You can build a solid deck out of starting cards and cheap cards that takes maybe a couple hours to grind up (you can just play passively and get achievements which drown you in currencies and MM) 3: Play an aggro deck, every game is over by turn 8. This is what I do and I can churn out games super quickly and keep it fast paced 4: I'm f2p and got the game exactly 1 week ago. I'd wager I beat about 70% of opponents with a relatively cheap aggro deck. I think decks do matter, but a more expensive deck is not leages above a f2p accessible deck. Especially since some of the most expensive cards are super late game like temple, biggest one, dark champion, etc you wont even encounter these when using an aggro deck 5: Idk I never struggled I just rushed her immediately 6: BCS was my first ever card game and using online guides was definitely helpful. There's a lot of youtube content which can guide you through building a cohesive deck. 7: Something very important is to have 2-3 copies of cards, even if you only intend on using it once. this is even more important for aggro decks which might only go through the first 15~ cards in the deck. I bring 3 pinks even though I only need 1-2, because if I only have 2 pinks then the chance of getting both is super low. Stack the odds in your favor, and you'll be winning more games because of luck than losing because of luck. 8: I enjoy BCS now while it isn't dead, so that when it does die I will have experienced the best days of the game. The grind really doesn't take 100s of hours, I got my deck most of the way online after 10. I'm at 20 hours right now and am only making slight adjustments here and there, and also building up my secondary and tertiary decks since my main is finished.
Im gonna be honest here, the game doesnt look interesting to me. I dont know how else to explain it but the game has the cheap feel to it. Also compared to other card games it doesnt feel that funto play.
it's an unbalanced, p2w bad card game, focussed entirely on ONE SHOTTING the opponent cause they refuse to balance the dumb druid that heals all the damage you did during the game like that.
