I wondered the same thing as a mom how this affected your relationship. I think things happen for a reason, you never get over your first love, and to lose them through death is horrible. Maybe that is the only way for you to find Alex, maybe your future kids wouldn’t be who they will be if your life was different. It seems like Ryan sent Alex for you. And Alex handled this great. Alex must really respect how you feel, because he knows if something happened to him he knows how you would grieve watching you go through this. I think one of the best descriptions for me on grief I have seen is the ball in a box and a ‘grief’ button on the inside of the box. The ball starts off large and takes up most of the box, therefore it’s chances of hitting the button is often and the feeling of grief is constant. Over time the ball gets smaller and smaller so hits the button less often, but it’s always still there & the ball can hit it whenever and unexpectedly. That is when you need someone the most and it’s precious how Alex is there for you through grief! All the best ☺️

It would actually be stupid to waste money on college if what you want to do doesnt require a college degree. I wish I wanted to do something that didnt require a Masters degree. So expensive!

Initially I was just part time while also working at Ulta, but there were a lot of changes with management at Kate Spade. I took the initiative to express interest of open positions to my manager and got promoted after about 5 months of working there! Being verbal and showing interest while also having good work ethic (not calling off, willingness to pick up/extend shifts, getting work done without being told to) goes a long way with your supervisors!!! Every company I have worked for has always preferred to promote existing employees rather than hiring from the outside, so it may be necessary to start from the bottom and build relationships before taking the leap to management. Not to ramble too much, but I can definitely answer further questions if you have any☺️
