Please next time add drafting to the video because many part modeling and assembly video in TH-cam but no drafting video. You teaching is good please add drafting
Awesome videos, good to see you active again here! I`d like to ask couple of questions if you dont mind. When you did a spiral, how did you know what variables to give when you created them? How did you choose the profile (and the one on the opposite side of it) you used? and last but not least: is there a way to know that those spirals actually are matching and working optimally? Like said, awesome videos, keep them coming :).
Hi! Thanks for your questions! Before I made the tutorial I measured the product with a caliper, so all the tutorials I make are actual products. What you can do is check if the profiles match (If you are working on a project) by using the section view option and use move part (rotate) where needed. If you are not sure about the tolerance and measurement, you can always ask a product engineer. I try to show as much features as possible in my tutorials, so this tutorial I show how to insert a spiral with a various pitch and in the next tutorial I show a spiral with a constant pitch. Hope this is the answer on you question. More tutorials coming soon!
@@designertutorials1320 Very nice job on this. My only thought is you mated the 2 parts without reguard to the threads. If I were to take a sectional would I see crossed threads? Problem!!
Amazing job, very good tutorial. Step by step without fast moves and good explanation
Thanks so much my dcg teacher is useless with your help I've been able to complete my exam project

How about twisting the top along the bottle helix to confirm fit?
