Ohhh, somebody got Christmas gifts and it AIN'T even Christmas!! LoL John, you're gonna love the Piranha toothbar. I have them on my bigger bucket and they're great. The pine needle thing is a semi-annual event that I do not enjoy but, heh, I live in a heavily wooded area (tons of pine trees). I too think the skids will do as you suggested to easily scoop up needles. I just have too many needles for that.Check out my old pine needle video. Putting the toothbar was quite simple but drilling thru big bucket took a bit of time. I used regular drill bits and a step-drill bit to make the holes using lots of lubricant. Congrats. Thumbs up.
Yep George, that toothbar works nicely. It gets a good bite of earth when digging/clearing. I recommend ballast weight if you want to get a more defined dig/bite when you drive forward but so far I didn't need it for what I've done. I do not have the red edge-tamer skid plates. They keep the edge of bucket above ground level so it won't dig in when you prefer to just skim the surface.
Thanks Don, I did see you pine needles video in fact it was your first video I watched and I did enjoy it. I thought about a rake like yours but I don't have as much land as you. I got one more add-on not yet in but soon hopefully.
John thank you for making this video. I have the paranoia tooth bar and was wondering if the edge tammers would fit on them NOW I know. Looking forward for the install and seeing you use of them.
Thanks for your videos, just got same tractor. Getting ready to the same setup, did you go with the 3 or 4 inch edge tamers? I'm going to have bxpanded do the notches too!! Thanks!
Thank you Cory, for watching and the comment! I am using the 3 inches Edge Tamers. I hope you enjoy your new Massey as much as I do mine. Have a good weekend! See ya in the next one!
That edge tammer looks awesome i cant wait to see how it works on a side note i found out that the kubota key and the massey key are the same key . I had a left over key that someone gave me for a kubota that i used to have and i compared it to the key on the Massey they are the same so i use the kubota key and just save my massey keys they also say that the lights on the back can be gotten cheaper thru kubota but i don't know for sure about that but anyway keep the vids coming .
Here we live in Canada and move tonnes upon tonnes of snow and I have never in my life seen those. That is a really good idea. Do you know how much lawn I dig up every winter lmao. Thanks for the video.
Great video by the way, I guess the only reason to remove a tooth bar from the bucket would be to make a clean edge with out the tooth marks. But anyways can't wait to see you tear up some ground with that beast.
That thing looks very cool! Looks ready for some heavy duty tractor work. Great video, thank you
Thank you Silver Cymbal, I hoping to do some clearing and a lot of digging.
Good video looks like very nice quality on the tooth bar and edge tammers can't wait to see them installed and you using them.
Thanks Robert, I can't wait to use them myself and see the difference they make on my tractor.
Congratulations on the purchase. I decided to get the same bar for my massey. I am just waiting for it to come in the mail.
I think you will love what it can do on the Massey. Congrats to you as well.
Nice setup, looking forward to seeing the install
Thanks Mathew, I'm going to try and get that video up soon.
looks great John! super excited for you! I may get a set of edge tamers myself. they can be handy to have.
