I’ve always like the idea of Humanity being far more ancient than WE believe. That once upon a time WE, we’re a Super Advance Civilization. But somewhere down the line something happen that cause our devolution, and now in Modern Times, in centuries to come, little by little, WE, gonna reclaim our former throne. 😊

Is there any way to reveal such information regarding the Forerunners and ancient humanity to the public without inciting mass hysteria or something? If all goes well, human tech will advance a few millennia ahead within a matter of decades. Literally a "We are so back" moment.

Almost 2 hours of Forerunner lore. Yeah, I kinda would expect that from a species with a long and rich history to it. From the beginning of the Ecumene to present day Halo, the legacy of the Forerunners lives on.

Seriously, if you start a halo lore channel or do halo stuff a bit more i'd love that. Eckharts ladder does star wars lore and halo stuff as well, but nowadays he hardly covers halo. Its such a good combo though imo! Only real difference between your fanbase and ecks (i think) is that his channel banner states 'star wars, halo and more' whereas you are a star wars channel, so the portion of your fans who are dual franchise lore nerds may be smaller. But if the views support it... 👀
Always thought it was odd that despite ancient humanity being very close to the forerunners technologically, there are no human megastructures or lasting architectural monoliths to speak of. I would have thought they would have built some sort of megastructure or something that would have stood the test of time

To make a Halo/Harry Potter crossover, since Voldemort had a similar nose design to The Forerunners; and Forerunners, and humans had very similar biologies; wouldn't that make Voldemort something of a Forerunner? I know he was fully human as Tom Riddle, but as he made more horcruxes, and once he received his new body in The Goblet of Fire, would he now be considered a Forerunner, instead of a normal human?

the builders became the dominant faction, however you want to word that, it is mentioned in the books, I think I show it on screen, but like if you want to say that every class had representation, but at the end of the day they were the ruling class by the time of the flood war and long before, when that happened exactly can be debated but all during the the books they are
@@MetaNerdzLore they manipulated and absorbed other rates, including the rate of the didact father, that's how they gained power and became the most important rate, but they still weren't the ruling class, the forerunner had a concil that both the didact and librarian were a part of, only the engineers weren't a part of it, the council was the ruler of the forerunner, yes under Faber control but still the council.
Still missing a few rates, epitaph revealed at least three additional rates.
@@JoaoSoares-rs6ec from what I remember it was saying it wasn't just Faber but Builders ruling over/having most influence, was for a long time and how they started changing cultural things and cover up their stealing the mantle from the Precursors. And yeah kept seeing different details on rates, so went with these. But also thanks for the comment you definitely know you stuff and welcome added details and nuance

1:46 Though with all that we know about their culture and history, this was more likely expressed as "No civilization shall ever be allowed to surpass us unless they are superior to us in every conceivable metric and embody our values and ideology even better than us".
It could also be interpreted as them coming before others but still being around and more powerful/advanced, therefore they are inherently superior to others.
