This is EXACTLY the information I was looking for! Thank you so much for sharing. I love to hand knit my yokes but the endless stockinette is such a snooze for me, using my knitting machine is a game changer but I was confused on the direction of the stitch when you transfer it from the hand needle to the machine needle. Much appreciated!
She has knitted the yoke in the round, but is now dividing to work the front and back separately. She has added one stitch to each edge (and will do so when she hangs the other half of the yoke on the machine) to seam the sides when she is all finished.

Yippee! I’m so glad it helped you! I’ve knit entire portions the WRONG-WAY! 🤦♀️
how do you handle to sleeves? Do you put the sleeve stitches on and add extra stitches to each side?
I prefer to hand knit my sleeves. Is that your question?
Do you think this would work the same on one of the circular knitting machines? :)
I do as long as the circular machine had the number of stitches required in the pattern. Thank you for commenting 😊
I have seen you have on one side of the yoke sts, what about the oth3side of yoke. How come you end up with circular body piece? How did you do that?
I’m not sure what your question is. 😊

Do you do all the sweaters that are of course plain work ? And what machine do you use ? Thanks penny
Hi there Penny! I only knit the plain knitting on the machine and hand knit everything else. I have an LK150.
