    Maria, Thanks for the excellent tutorial. I am doing this tomorrow, some people have asked "how much is the digital wrench" well, my local dealer quoted me an hour! AT $149!!! Just to make it so you can turn on the already overpriced lights. I am so glad I am done accessorizing this thing. Thanks again, keep up the good work!

    Great video , did everything and lights installed great , my issue is I can’t get an Indian dealer to sync the lights , I was at a dealer mechanic had no clue how to sync, he told. Me they should come on when the bike recognizes speed and lean , wth. Mechanic says there is not flash for these. Other dealers I can’t get to call me back. What am I missing? What specifically should I be telling them because they just can’t get it

    • @ourindianadventures1488

      The dealer needs to do the Digital Wrench in order for the bike to recognize the lights.

      Since this video, we have added the lower fairings to the Challenger. I can tell you thought that during a trip two years ago to Spruce Knob in WV the two bikes in the back of the group lit up the pitch-black curvy road as we were coming back down the mountain.

    Great video and thank you. I have two questions so I have a challenge a dark horse thunder smoke black. When I go on the website to order these, they’re showing black and chrome and it looks like gloss black. Obviously I’m looking for the matte black lights, which is what it looks like you have do you have the exact part number for that so that’s number one number two is did it cost you any money to have the dealership hit it with the digital wrench? Thank you in advance.

    Good morning, I am considering these lights for my 2021 Roadmaster Limited. The question I have is can these lights be used when the headlights are on high beam setting? I ask because the passing lights I had on my Harley could only be used when the lights were set on low beam. Thank you!

    • @mariaweisgarber6030
      @mariaweisgarber6030 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not sure how to answer. For the Indian Challenger it has its own switch that you can use. It is also sync with your running lights via the digital wrench. It is not affected by high beam.

    • @motoGPness
      @motoGPness 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Totally separate circuit independent of high/low beam switchgear.

    Dear Maria, I also have the LED on my Challenger. If I have the LED lighting on and turn off the motorcycle after riding, and then start the engine again, the LED lighting is still there. but as soon as I put the motorcycle in first gear to drive away, the LED lights go out. And then I have to press the button again to turn the LED lighting back on. do you know if that is normal. I find that annoying because I always drive day and night with the LED lighting on.

    • @mariaweisgarber6030

    Absolutely zero reason fog lights that have to be manually turned on an off are run through the bikes PCM or requires a the dealer to activate. This violates the Right To Repair which has passed into law in NC. I highly suggest any of you that do not have a Right To Repair law in your state to push for it.
