Let's just clear things up about Soki's believability..... her description of the fragrance juice is based on the actual perfume notes, silage, longevity, and overall performance of the fragrance. She creates a narrative to give us an idea of what to expect when we choose to purchase the scent. Even if she had the bottles sitting in front of her, there's no guarantee that the juice is going to smell the same on you, and there's also no guarantee that your purchase is going to be authentic, or have an active shelf life. I have purchased fragrances on Amazon that were fake, and/or expired, and since I can't afford to pay full price for designer fragrances, I'm willing to take that risk. Personally, I prefer Soki over the other influencers because they TALK ABOUT THEMSELVES so damn much that it becomes overwhelming, meanwhile shaking the fragrance bottles in their hands with a blur in, and out of focus in front of the camera, and some even lose their train of thought which is a huge waste of the audience's time. Soki does not make the videos about "her" - she makes it about "us" - and shes very considerate of her audience. She provides a vision to the narrative of fragrance notes that is comprehensive, and relatable. So, for anyone who has questions about her authenticity, test it by going to the nearest store to try a sample. I have actually purchased over 16 fragrances since I began listening to her explain the notes, silage, and longevity of these fragrances, and I must say that her description is not only accurate, but also led to me getting refunds because a seller attemped to defraud me based on my lack of knowledge about fragrances, AND she saves me time by doing the research. Soki, I appreciate you, the education that you provide, your warm personality, and and the fact that you have saved me time, and money! ! When I "listen" to your experience, my only job is to search for a honest seller, wait for my package in the mail, and look forward to enjoying my little blessing. Keep up the good work!!
Thea. What a lovely comment to read you have made my day 🥰! It’s always a challenge to describe a smell when the audience can’t actually smell it so it’s lovely to hear that my videos have helped you choose perfumes and save time/money! I wish I could afford to buy alllllll the perfumes! Haha x
I love the fact that Soki can recall from memory dozens of other fragrance notes for a comparison and does not keep relying on notes. How a fragrance makes you feel is important too, she is alwaysso honest and enthusisatic about perfumes. I have bought quite a few perfumes on her reviews. The latest were Elie Saab Resort and Jimmy Choo...both of which I absoultely love x
i personally find that thinking about "us" (the audience) when describing a fragrance is absurd. the way we appreciate fragrances is very subjective and therefore very different so i actually prefer when a reviewer gives their personal opinion or else they end up being vague and the video ends up repeating what you could simply find if you check the perfume's site. (sorry if my english was not the best) (also this comment is not meant to be hateful just my personal opinion)
Back in the 90's, my sister bought me Dolce & Gabbana perfume and I adored it. To me it had a spicy scent but very subtle. I used it up and totally forgot about it. Recently I bought Light Blue and got sick of it. I began to research D & G original perfumes and found that their very first one for women was Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme. I ordered a bottle from Ulta and THIS IS IT!!! I'm so happy that I found this scent again. In these dark days of Covid 19 and riots, it helped me feel a little better. I hope that doesn't sound shallow. Sometimes we need a pick me up :). But mostly, reading my Bible and my faith in Christ is what sustains me.
My aunt used to wear the original D & G perfume the discontinued one, and its a smell so dear to my memory that I can almost smell it if I really try to remember. Is the pour femme truly similar to it ?
@@dianajimenezrod I’m not sure which one you are referring to but I know FragranceNet.com has a discontinued one. It has a red lid. I just saw it today. It’s pricey though especially for that particular site. It may be worth it for you though.❤️
D&G pour femme is my most most fav lately!perfectly balanced! not too strong, not too mild.it sweetness doesn't leave kind of scent that sometimes some of the perfume gives you headache.I haven't try the intense one yet.
I sprayed the original one when I went to Sephora, and I feel it is similar to Viva La Juicy Noir. I love VLJ, but it doesn’t last on my skin... I was looking for similar and long lasting EDP. This is perfect❤️

I never smelled the femme version or any of the new versions of this, just the very first intense and it smells like cozy marshmallows omg I love it!!!! I’m glad I have the original sample!! You nailed it because there is no raspberry in my little sample at all and even though I love raspberries, this is more mature and pure, sweet, cozy marshmallow. I do not get make up smell at all in this. Just a decadent, sophisticated woman! Wow, each thing I say you are saying LOL it does smell like a sophisticated woman that’s in charge and is confident!!!! But a 20 something could wear this too and own it with its sweetness!! I personally think it’s too much for a teen, that’s just me though hehe💖💖💖 if you want something in the crook of your arm to keep sniffing that brings you sweet comfort then grab this if you can find the original 💖💯 ps I HAD to mention, because you mentioned someone referring to this as “velvet” if it had a scent, and my little sample guy is packed in a D&G burgundy velvety box lol 😂 💯❤️❤️
I wear D & G pour femme daily but find it doesn’t last on me and little to no silage. Any recommendations for another perfume in that sweet without cloying family? (The last scent I wore daily was Dior Homme.) Love your reviews! I had wanted to buy the intense versions hoping for a longer lasting scent with silage but I now think this might be a bit much for me. Cheers xo

@@SokiLondon thank you and loved your video
I sadly did not like this fragrance :( I really wanted too but it smells like a sweaty body combined with some kind of food, mixed with a nice fragrance of some sort...i cannot explain it...i just was not a fan :(
Ah that’s a shame
I hate this fragrance, I was disappointed in it. It has no sillage, the only thing I smell is marshmallow...didn't even last 10 minutes.
I think intense smells like grapes lol
Same! ...also once I heard “makeup” I now cannot un-smell the lipsticky makeup scent lol
@@TigreCorazon does the pour femme edp have a lipstick makeup smell? Sometimes sweet vanilla fragrances can get that scent and I hate it
@@varr96 I have only smelled the pour femme EDP intense, and it does have that plastic-y makeupy smell whoch I normally dont like. The whole fragrance has notes that I would normally dislike but it seems to work with this one for some reason. I love it
Why don’t you actually have the perfumes that your reviewing?? This could just be a load of info copied from some random site 🙄
Because if I had to buy them all I’d be broke :)
@@SokiLondon for me I really hate other channels most of them do an ads for all houses so fake reviews that's really not a nice way of giving a reviews coz its all depend on who paid her much to give a good review !
None of my videos are ads or sponsored
Nonsense, she can do reviews based on just a sample or a blotter..I really appreciate her unbiased opinion and feedback. And Maddie,if you were going to criticize her,you should have paid attention to spelling-it’s you’re not your..just sayin’..
Aleksandra Strbac she doesn’t even show the samples.... just pictures popping up on the screen.... anyone could just do this as if they have smelt it... and calm down no need to get all wound up, I’m entitled to an opinion

I’m ok thanks…
