Hi Joseph.That can be a challenge for me as well sometimes. You're not alone. You'll notice in my songs I do a simple rhythm called 1:2 ratio. That can be applied to all songs written in 4/4 time signature. You'll notice on my printable chord sheets that are super simple to understand that I have the chord that should be played above the word or syllable in which it should be played. Does that help a bit? Another suggestion is to play along with me when I play through it at the end. I think when learning, learning the beat or tempo comes with playing with others and practice over time. Does that help a bit?

Beautiful. One of the best hymns written - change some of those chords to sus2 or sus4 where applicable and it really pushes it to the next level.
