Climate change and Michigan forests: impacts, adaptation, and new resources: Michigan’s 20 million acres of forest land are integral to the health and economy of our state. Climate change will present many challenges to sustaining these forests, and we’ll need all the tools in our toolbox to help them adapt to changing conditions. This presentation will review the primary climate change impacts to Michigan’s forests, explain how adaptation can help forests cope, and share some new resources for land managers and land owners.
