I blocked mine dec 23. there are days I feel great that I am breaking free , then there is a small part of me that wants to reach out ... but i have to remember, why we got here ...
    1) love bombing
    2)devaluing me
    3) discarded for new supply
4)found out he was seeing old supply awhile triangulating me with the new supply
    5) got tested for infection which I had bv cause of him sleeping around .
I am done . wiping my hands clean.
need to move on . and keep looking forward and not in the past 😩

Thank-you!!! Journaling is so amazing. 45 years marriage. Been Journaling for 35 years. Spouse told me not to do it 20 years ago. I didn't listen.

Deliberate and intentional mindfulness practice can help to stay emotionally disconnected from them even if it’s a momentary reprieve…. We can rebuild our lives in that way, moment by moment! 🕊

I have broke 4 times from narcissistic environment . First from the family based on the feelings because ‘ 90 but there was no information. But because looking for love and respect was an easy target for narcissistic people. The end result was a brain issue and many other body problems. But after the brain issue I needed to study a lot to able restart. With luck I found information and knowledge on Internet. You sharing information and from some others everything came clear and now able to find a new path. Sad part is that I don’t trust people anymore but time will heal

It's finally brain over heart , which is a tough gig for every heart led empath . There is a wonderful moment though , after you break free , when you realise the sun still rises , the birds still sing and the sky DOESN'T actually come crashing down like the narcissist said it would ! In fact life goes on ,...JUST FINE !!! 🫢🤔😂❤️

Also, do you think if they keep you stuck it's less effort they have to make. If you're in the place they want you to be then we're predictable and they don't have to think too much past what they already think, so what makes it easier on them is their game. If we unstuck ourselves then it complicates things for them and they have to work harder IMO.

Unfortunately, if you have a child with the narcissist, it's difficult.
She has a new supply but keeps randomly messaging me for things.
I'm like, okayyy...... I'll play your game for a little bit, but I know exactly who you are! Lol!
    This is what they do!

How do you approach the journalling? I've tried but really can't get the momentum flowing to write; I'm not sure what I'm suppose to ask myself to make the journalling flow?

I dunno that you're doing anything wrong per se?
However, once a week, Anoushka posts up (writing) prompts...
Listen, if one looks at one of the most famous journals
from all of history, like St Teresa's journal, what we
find is usually an absolute mess. Seriously, on St Teresa's
journal specifically, every editor has commented
on the challenges with spelling and punctuation, even some
of the grammar is difficult to publish.
The point being, keep at it. Stick with it.
With that said, Anoushka's prompts are centric and I dunno...
it is nice having them. Really nice, given my story.
Be well. Keep going. You're in a great spot.
      Cheers--welcome.
