Nice shot..... didn’t know Walmart allowed target practice in their lots.

Same here, the thing is a tack driver. I actually took my first deer (buck) with it the weekend before thanksgiving.

Love your target! How does it handle broad heads?

The compressed cardboard is perfect for broad heads. I don’t recommend using field points, they will blow right through the target.

I know that the metal track will make the paint fall off with use. How much does this affect the accuracy?

    • @thehuntersedge2470

I’m not sure I understand your question.
The accuracy of this crossbow is great. Just for fun I have tested it out to 80 yds and it is very consistent.

@@thehuntersedge2470 thank you very much. I mean, is it normal for the paint on the CNC aluminum alloy track to fall off as the number of uses increases? Does this affect accuracy?

wow. looks more like 100 m actually? just a pitty one can't replace a compound-string at home without a press...so it's gonna be recurve...

Most north eastern deer kills are 10 yards to 30 yards. That's more then I would shoot in the woods!!

Last season I harvested a buck at 35Yds with this xbow and had zero issues. In the past I have taken deer out to 40-45 with a compound bow so I have no doubt this will work out to 50. Would I take a shot that far with an xbow maybe/maybe not completely depends on the situation.
This bow is sighted in at 30yd, 45yd, 50yd, 60yd, 70yd, 75yd. each pin is dead on at those ranges. I wouldn't take shots on game at those longer ranges but it is fun to shoot a target out to 75-80yds.

Nice bow! I sold my Ghost 350 for a carbon black Barnett vengeance. I like the balance much better with the reverse draw. Still plenty of power. I'm heading down to our camp in two weeks for bow season in CT. Can't wait!! Good luck this year!!
