Right on! Just because someone is in a wheelchair that doesn't mean they are always unable to stand! You don't have to be entirely unable to walk and use your legs to use a wheelchair.

Brandi *click* Bear! My mum is has M.E. and fibro mialgia and we were at Disney once at a monorail station with only one ramp for several people who wanted to disembark. Mum stood up to allow dad to lift her chair into the station to help the cast members out. Opposite there was a line of people waiting for a different monorail. Many of then stared whilst mum stood. I felt like shouting "it's a miracle! She can walk". People need to understand that if not all disabilities are visible.
They stand in more ways than one.
I love Janice, she reminds me of my best friend Sam who knows perfectly how to turn the frustrations of chronic illness and disability into humour. Over the years I don't know where I would be without my best friend, she is crude and rude but always there when ever needed be it practical help or emotional. No one can kick me out of the occasional pity party like she can, make me laugh and feel normal, hold me when my heart is breaking and come in to rescue when things overwhelm at a moments notice. Everyone needs friends like Janice and my Sam in their lives and when you are chronically ill and needing more support and help then you feel you can ever expect of a person these friends are essential and often times literal life savers.

2 years later rewatching this. Hearing you talk about getting a big ceremony when you're feeling better made me tear up. You so desurved to get that big ceremony. I miss you jaquie. I miss you so much. You did not deserve such a short life.

It is amazing how quickly your body bounced back with the feeding tube!! In the vlogs prior to the feeding tube you couldn't even get down the stairs with out almost passing out!! In this vlog you went to multiple stores, tried on clothes and shoes, and hung out with your friends!! I know it wasn't as easy and care free as you made it look but it was nice to see you out and about and enjoying your time with friends again!! Hopefully things will get even better once you are fully healed!!

I can't wait to see the dress! I'm not chronically ill or anything but when I was pregnant with each of my children I had pre-eclampsia pretty bad. I couldn't walk 10 steps without my blood pressure shooting through the roof. So if I wanted to go anywhere I had to use a wheelchair. I never ran into more judgmental people than during those times. I just couldn't understand why it made others so angry for someone to take care of themselves...
i was at UTC today and i saw You, Paul, and Harlow by the directory on the second floor. officially one of the coolest moments. i was freaking out. didnt wanna go over there and bother you guys in case something was happening. but it made me really happy seeing you there
I'm so excited for your wedding today!!! i'm really glad you were able to find all of your clothes so quickly, and I'm happy that you have Paul and Janice who are willing to come and support you and be there for you. having people there to support you during the difficult days is really important, and I'm so glad that you have Judd, your family, all of your friends, and Hippo!

Ugh jaquie im so ready for your wedding ive been telling everyone i know. its like a best friend is getting married. nice message on chairs! some days, i can walk no problem, other days i feel like im gonna fall over, other days i can stand, but not walk.
doctors think i have EDS, and im pretty stoked we have an answer after almost two years of suffering without rhyme or reason. hoping to get a service dog when i move out in a few years, but i love seeing harlow doing such a good job!!

I didn't know you had mast cell! We're thinking i have systematic mastocytosis but it's difficult bc nobody knows about it :( I'm from South West Florida and was wondering if there was anybody in the area (doctors) who specialize in it? My hematologist won't even do a bone marrow for me. Even though i have all the signs, PNES, Cough Variant Asthma, Really Bad Allergies, Brain Fog, Weight Loss, and my histamine levels are 23.

I'm not meaning to be rude when I post any confirmation about her illnesses because she confirmed them yesterday AND has mentioned them in a TH-cam video she made as well as on her IG account. She has a video with a recipe for her Gluten and Dairy Intolerance where she mentions her narcolepsy. For more information you can go to her IG @Outrageously_Helpful_Orion and IG @janiece_life She openly confirmed and makes posts about her vestibular problem and POTS.
***Anything other than that is it 100%, not my business to know about or ever mention. ***I ONLY thought to post this because I'm unsure how user-friendly Instagram is for people that are visually impaired. I don't know the demographics of the channel but I know it is possible that subscribers of this channel could be blind or visually impaired.

Thank you SO MUCH for discussing how people use wheelchairs for different reasons. I look healthy, but I have fibromyalgia and my muscles are wasting away. I have a wheelchair and I get awful looks.

One time I was in York (a town in England) with school but being a spoonie my mom had to pick me up early, we then stayed in a hotel. The next day we went giftshopping and I had to use our wheelchair, when I stood up in a giftshop, the other people in the store looked at me like they just saw a T-Rex!
Though now I can kind of laugh about it, back then I was really uncomfortable with the whole situation...
Anyways, have a GREAT wedding today, you deserve the best you can get❤❤

I had just finished eating the "red white and blue pop" right when I clicked on this video!
I get that all disabilities are different and most are actually invisible (I have some myself) but you act like you have so much energy all the time. you are constantly vlogging, holding up the camera... then you have to spend hours editing it and uploading it. it's like a full time job. with the illnesses you have that cause fatigue, lethargy, and exhaustion, how do you manage to do this? I really do not understand it at all. I don't mean to compare but I have multiple mental disorders and undiagnosed fatigue and heart problems... and I would not be able to do any of this. obviously everyone is different but STILL.

I have chron's and gastroparesis, and what used to help me sleep is in sitting up position. once I was too sleepy to even notice the pain that's when I would switch over to normal laying down position.
I died, I binge on red, white and blue pops too! seriously you should see my grocery bill, every single one has bomb pops on them, lol

It just sounds a little better and makes us feel more human, and not like some error lol. (:
