I grew up in Tampa in the 1970s and our neighborhood had regular visits from the ice cream man. My favorite was always a bomb pop. Brings back lots of good memories!
My husband doesn't wear a ring due to it being pretty dangerous for him to wear around the heavy machinery and such. I have literally never though of a silicone ring! Great idea 💡 lol thanks!
Candace Gray My Mom is an vetrinerian so she can't where rings, nailpolish or any thing on her hands and lower arms so she Always where the rings on a neckless. I understand this is't an option for People on constuction sites but I think it is really cool.
Har does not have HD, she has been thoroughly evaluated by her vet. Exactly as Sarah pointed out, I would not make Harlow work if she had medical issues of her own.

I know how you feel I always have to fight for my narcolepsy meds at least every other year. My neurologist is also a lawyer so sometimes it gets pushed through faster than other times.
I find it absolutely heartbreaking that you consider it normal and a part of your life to have to fight your insurance to get medication approved. You have to work so hard just to make sure you have the tools you need to function! It's always a pleasure to see your videos, but this is something I get so mad about on your behalf.

Yeah, everyone always says that getting married doesn't feel much different. I guess because nowadays it's normal to be living with your significant other before getting married. So, once you're actually married it feels the same because you've already been under the same roof. So, it's normal to feel that way.

Jacquie I struggle a great deal with severe overheating at the slightest movement. I live in Arizona and it's supposed to be 121 next week. I'm finally considering an ice vest. Have you tried one, if so what did you think? I've avoided it because they're bulky and I didn't think I'd be comfortable but now, I may need to breakdown and get one. Love your headband and seeing Janiece, her man (sorry forgot his name), and puppies. As always, thanks for sharing!
It's always such a pain to get prior authorizations for medications. I have a couple that I can't go without that are over $600/month that I have to get approved every year. This past year 2 other medications (that I've been on for over 5 years) also went on the list and they now have to be pre-approved too.
I suffer from MS & Graves disease and also live in Florida and have heat AND cold intolerances! I'm either too hot or too cold! I have had people say it is all in your mind! You are not disabeled without being blind!

I'm sorry but I really do not have any tips for the heat :( It is one of my worst symptoms, there is no way around it. So I just stay where the AC is! That works the best for me.

I have FroggTogg chilly pads. They are a cooling towel but aren't drippy wet. I cut mine in half and wear it like a scarf. Some people sit on the pads with cooling gel that they sell for dogs.
Any tips for getting meds or equipment approved? I have loose joints and my doctor was willing to say I'm hyper-mobile but I haven't been diagnosed with eds. My tmd is pretty bad and I've chipped teeth and had chronic ear and jaw pain from it and they really don't want to approve treatment. They did say that if I tried a dental splint out of my own pocket and it didn't work then they would cover part of surgery but would not cover surgery if I didn't first try the dental splint they won't cover..
Dang. I was at Walmart today and forgot my Popsicle's. I'm like Janiece, I'll sit there and eat half a bag of 24 in one sitting and if I don't watch myself...before i know it, they're all gone. I get muscle spasms really bad all over my body. The worse of them happen in my feet, sometimes lasting up to 20 min. The only muscle relaxer we're found that helps is not recommended for ppl over 50. I"m 54. We have to get that med pre approved every year, too. I feel for ya, the anxiety while waiting is awfl...I know that feeling of euphoria when it's approved for another yr. ;)
Now that your married are you going to legally change your last name or are you keeping it the same? cause I know contacting everyone one after it gets changed will be horrible and takes forever especially when you have many doctors and companies your getting stuff from.

I have RSD/crps , about 90 percent of my body is covered with it and except for about 8 days I have been locked up with chronic pain for almost 9 years, though I have had this problem for 17 years. Temperature intolerance is one of my big problems. I need a fan all day and night. Are you taking any medication which helps?
Yep, as Sarah said I faint. It becomes extremely dangerous as my blood cannot circulate correctly and I usually need to go to the ER. You can learn more in my chronic illness video.
I don't understand insurance companies. They approved a med the year before and have to decide if you still need it? They are not gods or doctors, yet are playing both. It is like they don't care about how people feel when ill or on a daily basis. They are right there with pharmaceutical companies. It is a love hate thing. Need them, but sooooo obnoxious.
Sarah Smith actually yes I have! I've worked in a vet clinic for the past 4 years and have been in multiple surgeries to fix it! There are many ranges of HD (severe to borderline)
Chronically Jaquie I'm glad she's been throughly evaluated! Have you thought of maybe chiropractor ? Just the way she's placing her feet while walking straight shows something is up which typically a vet can't see what's causing that without x-ray. I have working dogs (both sport and search and rescue) and it's so helpful to keep from injury.
