It’s been available since launch here in Sweden and I’ve not seen it sold put. Good for Americans though. The Trails games seem to never sell out here. Except for Day real that I had to get a CE because the regular sold out on PS5 but it’s available on Switch.
I pre-ordered the PS5's Collector's Edition/w plushies and the Switch standard months before launch. I'm however patiently waiting on NISA & VGP to reprint Ys 9 on PS5, cus I'd rather support VGP even if it means Falcom gets a cent off each of those reprint copies. Given how much of a fucken joke the aftermarket has become as of late by "speculator" types in the community.
The reprint logic is difficult to comprehend. Trails to Zero is an older and harder to find game and yet Reverie was somehow ahead in line of it for a reprint. Why?
I don't think it's first come, first served. If something gets its rights clearance, then it'll get reprinted. So things might not come out in any order necessarily, just when they are ready.
@@FattyBrent I imagine that's generally correct but I don't know why it would be in this case. Both games are from the same developer, publisher and franchise. Why would licensing one be harder than the other?
Friendly warning: I've started playing all Legend of Heroes games on summer of 2023 and as of today on January of 2025 I've almost reached the end of Cold Steel 2. That means the 3 Sky games, 2 Zero/Azure games and 2 Cold Steel games cost me one and a half year of my life. I think I got a break of half a year or so betwen games but I think my point is clear, this is a time consuming series.
Wait so each game is part of a big story line? Does that mean I have to play all of them in order to understand the story? Because I was thinking about buying the daybreak one
@lemoncake6802 Daybreak is a different story but on the same built world of all the previous ones so it's still recommended to play all the prior titles
I recently had a problem with my prostate and I literally put off starting the Trails games until I found out whether or not it was cancer. No point starting the series if I'm going to be dead in a few years.
@@lemoncake6802 You ideally start with Trails in the Sky 1, 2 and 3. Then Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure happens at the same time as Trails from Cold Steel 1 and 2. Then it follows Trails from Cold Steel 3 and 4 and finally Trails into Reverie.
Is this even out of print? Maybe in America? I've been caught out several times by yanks going apeshit on reddit about games being hard to find, so I think damn I'd better pick this game up now at full price instead of waiting for price drops like I normally do. Why are they getting such low print runs over there? Must be hard for them. As usual, I'm just happy I live in a first world country.
@@wowgek7 usually on VGP there is mention of revisions that include patches and such on the cartridge, especially for bigger titles. this one doesn't have that so take it with that in mind.
@@Frshmachine not always and most of the time when an game gets reprinted it will be the latest build at the time so if this is an genuine reprint it could verry well be patched. and vgp didnt do that anyway till VERRY recently with mariokart and another game. but never before that. an good example of that is pokemon briliant diamond and shining pearl for example. I highly doubt they are selling the day 1 version yet they dont specify which one they are selling

It's a still available, standard 48€ Game in Germany. Nothing rare here.

Give it time. VGP knows what they are doing. Heck, you can even contact them and request that they do a reprint.
