In this video, I am presenting how I repair two Lenovo batteries with chip BQ8030A (Sanyo) using the new Reset feature for the NLBA device.

This is an amazing product. It gives back life to so many batteries that will be otherwise recycled.

I use NLBA device over 1 year. For me, who work every day, with repair laptops it is very useful device. Your support is very well and fast. I read your forum and see that people who dont know basic of electronic and battery speak very bad about NLBA device and they dont listen what you tell them and tray to educate them. Also I use other software and device for reset electronics but I am not satisfied with his support or not support.
This is the finest tool ever, I got this tool in May 2020, nobody could say beforehand what is going on with the battery. An exact diagnosis can now be made with a protocol. And the best thing is Newly purchased batteries can be tested and fake batteries can be identified. I have now received update 3.3.0 works great

I have 3 bat all have the same problem, i changed the corrupted cells and i found the thermal fuse opened i shorted it but still get no voltage on the output pins. What should i do else?
The battery Chip Reset Function is a wonderful addition to this tool. I have just come across my first locked battery in a Toshiba. With the new option I will be able to unlock it and test each Cell and find out if it really has got a problem or was in a very bad discharge state. With more and more people using battery powered device this is one of the best investment i have made.

Thank you NIP for this very useful device that solved a big problem in our shop, repair dead batt. Is never expected but this is now true with your work, powerful add on to our business, i urge everyone who love electronics or have a shop to get this tool it will pay itself back many times and your business will grow up, you can rcover dead and weak batteries with few steps depending on the failure, many features have been integrated ine this tool, unable to discrabe it, cause it's unexpected, is a geniune work by NIP, thank you very much for this tool, love you✌👍

Having in view genuine Lenovo or Dell batteries cost from $50 to $150 each the license price could be pumped back just in one day. Really Golden Mine! Must have for all laptop fixing workshops...
Exactly. It's not like competitors have a better price, no way, they sell only one year and more expensive. Anyway, I take into consideration to add license per reset.
Hello Friend these videos are very useful as I already own your device and it helped me to fix different laptop batteries. Also the feature of resetting help me to unlock batteries which were previously locked but has good charged cells. Also this tool is good for re calibrating the batteries for the better and actual cell performance. I am happy that i bought this equipment.

Is it possible to remove errors by write a dump eeprom from working battery?
The feature supports reading and writing EEPROM so you can do this but the batteries must be identical.

You cannot buy the chip since it is custom created by TI for Lenovo.
How much you need? There is some bq8030a in stock. Used condition with pcb.

i just see the reset licence $39.99 per month price and i think is to high vs put a new affter market battery in the client laptop
With $39.99 you could reset / unlock / repair how many batteries you want, for example, 1000 batteries. Believe me, it is the best price on the market. NO one offers such a solution for 1 month.

New batteries are at low prices in China so client chose a new china battery over old repaired battery
@@AlfonsoKuenArroyo In about 20 minutes I fixed 3 x Lenovo authentic batteries which are very good. In 1 month I can fix 100 or more.
@@AlfonsoKuenArroyoTry to find the latest Lenovo or Dell slim and flat batteries of good quality in China. Soon I will release a reset license for these new batteries. They have LiPo HeV new technology 4.35V which can be recovered even the cells have 0.5V, after recovering they can have up to 90% of their original capacity. Don't compare chip Chinese batteries with the latest technology. But hey, you can buy them :)

Wow. $40 a month? So not what I was expecting when I bought this. Truly had high hopes this would be a cost effective solution for us. Just found out it's not. I guess I'll be selling on ebay. Truly unfortunate.
Yes, do you know something close to this price on the market ? The other software on the market (just software) costs $600-$1000 per year. 40$ is absolutely very cheap, fixing 2 batteries the price can be recovered. I really don't understand, is it better to throw the batteries than repairing them ? with 40$ you can repair 100 or 500 or how many you can in a month.
@@nipembedded9976 Fair enough. But your cheapest prices are still to expensive for us. 100 batteries a month is just not our business model. Best of luck.
@@cognetic We are taking into consideration another license type based on the number of resets so in this way a customer can get a packet of 10 resets and use them in let's say 6 or 12 months.

@@nipembedded9976 Just got my Analyser and its a great tool but I understand the comments above and the difficulty in finding a good solution for the advanced features (Reset) for everyone. For a busy repair shop receiving many batteries a month, the current monthly plan might work out extremely cost effective but for someone like me who might only pull the tool out a few times a year, this model does not work. even the suggested pack of 10 resets is not attractive if it has an expiration. I am curious would they need to expire if you have paid for them in advance?
Something to consider, I realise its difficult to find a one size fits all solution but you already have many different types of customer :)
Very affordable offers, the device itself is excellent performance, much cheaper than the price of its predecessors, the software is much cheaper than similar ones. Excellent tech. support, the forum explains in a popular and accessible way how to use the software. Even in the event of problems in which the device itself and the software do not help, those. support explains how the battery can be repaired.

Отличная тех. поддержка, на форуме популярно и доступно объясняют как пользоваться софтом. Даже в случае возникновения проблем, в которых сам девайс и софт не помогают, тех. поддержка объясняет какими способами можно починить батарею.
