When you scrap out the fans you collect, do they often have aluminum motors? It’s becoming less common to find copper motors in anything. Just wondering what you see lately. Tc
It looks copper. I haven’t checked if they actually are. I’ll check on the next one

One of my washer guys said people don’t know how to maintain them and over use fabric softener

I take the motors out and as much wire as I can. I sell them separately at the Manhari scrapyard. They pay the best.
