Thank you, I saw the MHB play Woodstock in September, and I mentioned to my wife and others I thought the gig sounded like a cross between Pink Floyd and the Dead, it was one of the best shows I have seen in a while, and I go to many, hence the name, Johnny Showgoer. The best band on the circuit btw is moe.
What a band and what great new tunes.........Mickey.......you've done it again.....expanded my mind.......the universe seems so much friendlier today after hearing your new band. Beautiful........thanks for all the beats. Crystal...you have the most beautiful voice i have ever heard......and you sound great on The Dead material. Thanks!!

never took physics in school but my understanding of sound is that it requires air. ( put your hand in front of a speaker ) there is no air in space, therefore there is no sound. but it is a good story

lol just got back from a show, and people were pretending like a mother fucker they liked it i guess. the floor was shaking all night. they nearly brought the ceiling down for an encore. pretending like a son of a bitch. haven't danced that hard since the last time i seen mickey play. somethings wrong with you ears brother.

I couldn't agree more. The 1st Planet Drum Tour was amazing, the legendary international musicians making the show, The 2nd band was average.. and then Mickey started rapping.. It was the whitest rap I have ever heard. Mickey should NEVER rap. And what's with the brain imaging thing? It would be interesting if it created generative music. It's just like... look at me, look at my brain. It would be cool is someone came up with technology to look at Mickey Hart's ego. That would be huge!
He's learning how he can directly effect brainwaves with his music..frequencies and how it all fits together. He did a special explaining some of it. From the macro to the micro.
