There are new articles out there that this CEO was involved in some shady deals. As much as I do not condone murder, sometimes the gene pool must be cleaned of trash. These "insurance companies" are far more interested in providing massive returns to their investors and to top brass that they intentionally refuse to cover claims based on one small mistake made on the paperwork. I have knowledge of one medical corporation that has issues with the insurance companies rejecting claims for one simple mistake on the application. Considering that every company has their own claims forms to fill out and they are ALL VERY DIFFERENT, it is very hard for those overworked in the billing department to file an accurate claim. First the government needs to step in and mandate one universal claim form for ALLhealthcare insurance providers to work with. This will streamline paperwork needed to file for a claim. It also means less chance of mistakes and larger payouts for insurance companies when one common claim form is used cutting out chances for mistakes. This equals to less profitable payouts to stock holders and lower salaries to the top management. This individual who has not been proven guilty in a court of law as of yet has, if he IS THE SUBJECT OF THE SHOOTING, many people who have been denied claims will find him as a hero to their misery. Really who is to blame for this crime, it is the insurance providers and their policies.

Something MAC pointed out was that the shooter was aiming at the victims back and hit him in the leg, which appears to be the case. Indicating a baffle strike. If this were true I can't see a plastic 3d printed suppressor holding up to that. I think the suppressor was a solvent trap in its former life based on that theory. It would be heavy enough to cause malfunctions and durable enough to roughly hold together with a moderate baffle strike. Also explains the lack of booster. I disagree with the idea that police would show pictures of a plastic 3d printed suppressor. They might comment on it, but for some reason I think they want people to believe somehow suppressors are more than mufflers for guns. Some super secret recipe to silence a gun.
I'm wondering if any more photographs of the weapon and silencer will be released at all. Unless the local DA (Bragg?) wants to publicly crucify the alleged perp, the DA's office will try to extort a plea deal and remember that 95%+ of cases are decided through pleas, not jury trials. Not taking a plea tends to get 'rewarded' with more and heavier charges. Even if the feds go after the perp separately on possession of an unlicenced NFA item, the perp might have an attitude of 'After the first life sentence the rest are free' and try a constitutionality defense. Would the feds want that possibility? From what I've seen, this does not appear to be a dirt poor defendant.

@@jeremywills9303 A comp for a PCC? That thing looked pretty big to me. Plus, the rumor in the TV news is it was a "3D printed suppressor." The PSR guy showed one on his channel yesterday.
Bro, its a chairmanwon frame with obvious artifacts from the steep 90 degree overhang at the back of the "beaver tail" thus I can say with certainty (I would bet $1000) it was printed rails up rather than rails down (A preference for function over form). It was literally the most popular frame design to print from 2022-2023. Can was probably a FTN.3
I think you’re 100% correct and I will also add. I think they’re going to use this in some fashion to try to push suppressor wait times for tax stamps back even further and make them harder to acquire.
Had a buddy when I was in the Navy named Mangione. As far as the suppressor goes, those eyebrows would hav sufficed, this comes from a 68 year old with a wild caterpillar on his forehead.
There is a pin at the front of the trigger guard, commonly used to pin a locking block and frame rails in place. No plate for the serial number. It isn't an OEM slide as there are no markings. I've used one of those slides before, but damned if I can remember the name/source right now.
@@stopthephilosophicalzombie9017 That's not what he is saying. He's saying an 80% frame for commercial sale would have the plate, a home made 3d print frame would not. Since the gun in the pic does not have a plate, it must be a 3d print.
@@lrh411 Yeah that was what I was asking; I didn't know if there was a law that all home made guns had to be serialized (seems silly but exactly like something the government would require).
They will have to release a picture of the suppressor at some point because it's gonna be part of the firearms charges he's facing and will have to be preserved and produced as evidence for trial. I'd be my guess that the suppressor came apart during ballistics testing, because they have to prove the suppressor was functional as a suppressor and it had already been weakened by the actual shooting.
I just heard the assassin is denying a Faraday bag and also a bunch of cash. He claimed the cash was planted by the cops. Another “issue” is with a 3D printer I can easily convert a semi-automatic weapon in to full automatic. I’m former military so I’m aware of the issues with “Spray & pray”. However it will be an issue for law enforcement.
Had the Founders foreseen the future, they would have written a very different Second Amendment: _“A well protected public, being necessary to the security of a free State, the Duty of the People to keep and bear arms shall be Enforced.”_

So the frame may have been printed, the slide wasn't... the barrel wasn't. If he tossed it in a lake, it may have been a problem tracing it to him, but that's not what happened. Oh, but he had a gun without a background check. So what he had no criminal record and could have passed a background check and bought a new glock six months ago. Or simply bought a stolen gun last week. Either way, his victim would still have three bullets in his back.
interesting thought.... If Brandon Herrera was ATF director, could he directly get his hands on the supposed suppressor used and make that public information? Suppressors are the ATFs purview and then there would be no hiding what kind of suppressor it was if it was home made or not. Unless the argument becomes because it was potentially home made they can't have access to it or something but I don't think that would hold water.
I don't think the suppressor's cylinder was 3D printed, but the baffles may have been. It doesn't look like any of those solvent catch suppressors, and they didn't even work very well. They were junk.
You can definitely tell it's 3D printed. There's a slight deformation on the dovetail section of the pistol and the base of the magazine slide as well. There's absolutely too many deformations on the lower assembly doesn't appear to have any laser cuts.
Well, it's not a factory GLOCK G-19 or a 80% Arms GST-9 MOD-1 for sure. The GST-9 MOD-1 has a removable magwell and roll pin to secure it in place. The gas peddle and undercut trigger guard are similar though. The removable quick change G19/G17 magwell is a key specialty feature on that particular gun. The entire frame looks too rough, unrefined and "grainy" to be injection molded. I believe it to be a 3D printed aftermarket frame. He was a computer guy so that makes the most sense.
They won’t show a pic of the tube because it was broken and they don’t want to show that it failed. They want people to believe that printed tubes are perfectly reliable and therefore should be “banned”.
@ I do too, same stipple as well just in od green instead of black, I still need a rail kit for it so. Better get on that before they all sell out after this.
@AKSaber907 Yeah I know glocks have the dingus trigger safeties. The photo quality may be causing what I see. But it looks like they filed way some sort of a 1911 style grip safety on the back. You can kinda see the tang of what appears to be one left. I was wondering if there was some sort of airsoft chicom frame knockoff that adds a grip safety maybe and he messed with that. That or someone tried to 3d print a stock attachment or something. Something weird going on there. Who knows. Maybe we'll get better pics soon
Just a quick thought here, you can clearly see the 3-D printer creation lines in the grip structure. It's obviously a genuine Glock slide. Probably picked up on eBay. And your guess is as good as mine about the trigger.. the slide insert probably came from Glock parts from some online purchase as well. But that frame is printed, there's no doubt in the world that frame is printed.
You can clearly tell it was 3d printed. And I was correct also saying the firearm was homemade. I called about numerous gun channels going along with the media about it being a b&t.
I may have found the frame, or at least one very close. Look at Hooper Gunworks 80% Glock lowers. I wouldn't be surprised if it was one of these that was modified. The cut out and mag release is spot on, and so is the trigger guard.
I don't believe the suppressor was 3D printed because the plastic wouldn't be heavy enough to cause the malfunction that caused him to have to rack the slide. I could be wrong, but I don't think so.
After looking at the gun photo blown up, I can see that the frame is definitely 3D printed. You can also see a couple places where the plastic has been damaged on it. The slide looks like steel and would more than likely NOT function properly being very light like plastic. Steel slides can be purchased in a number of places legally, to the best of my knowledge.
Has he been charged for having a non-NFA registered suppressor? Looking at the charges I can’t see one that I think is specifically for the suppressor.

The only thing I can figure is that once he saw they were circulating his picture he decided to just give himself up or throw all caution to the wind and strut around in public in the same clothes with all his crime paraphernalia on him. Seems suicidally stupid but so is trying to assassinate a CEO.

You made an excellent call on the gun and setup used and you were way ahead of everyone else.
I think it's funny how nobody even wants to mention the "veterinary pistol" that was first identified by "experts". Instant amnesia! LOL
They have said the suppressor was 3D printed and, yes, they are going after “ghost guns” as they call them. I don’t think the shooter was worried about durability of the can. If we ever get audio of the shooting we will be able to determine the effectiveness of the can and whether its effectiveness was degraded over the three shots.
As usual it is what the government DOESN'T say that teaches us more about the situation than what the government DOES say.
Thank you for the informative video.
The frame design and slide have been identified by 3D2A peoples. Chairmanwon designed V1 glock 19 (definitely printed), Patmos arms slide, aftermarket suppressor height sights. The frame design is an older one, posted 3-4 years ago. v2 was more popular, and the v3 has been released

He doesnt have the money to go buy it at a gunshop or from someone selling personal guns at a gunshow but he has money to get a 3d printer and scoured the internet for the specs and program to make it yet he was too stupid to destroy it after it was used or at least get it into someone elses hands, such as a gangbangers hands, to redirect blame. Luigi! You disappoint me. I will never play as Luigi ever again.

We definitely don't want the constitutionality of making suppressors NFA being decided on this case. The optics are all wrong.
The gun looks like a chairmanwon 3D print. 3D2A folks on Twitter are saying it’s the old V1.
PSR dropped a video on it yesterday.
@@gschgvt2956 I saw that after I made my comment.
It is a printed frame. My son has printed 3-4 of that model, one of which is on a stand about 3 ft behind me.
How do you integrate the slide rails and stuff? Do you print over top of them or make cutouts?
@@stopthephilosophicalzombie9017 There is a parts kit you can buy that has the bearing rails. You print the grip frame, clean off the flashing, clean a few holes and other things - then the parts kit practically drops in and is retained with pins. Then you get a Glock or aftermarket(Glock type) slide.
Thinking the first shot was a bullet strike on the can.
the suppressor pic is what I am the most interested in.
I'm thinking the silencer was home made, and that it will not be publicized, because it will prove that any criminal can just make one if they have the desire to do so.
@@fattigla when I was a kid (1959ish) I found a cross-section pic of a suppressor. I made one with a hacksaw and a file, in about an hour. They haven’t mocked that up yet. Prop department is running a little behind schedule, I guess.
Maybe it really wasn't a can but a linear comp? If that is the case of course they don't want to make that common knowledge. It wouldn't support their anti suppressor agenda.

There is a pin at the front of the trigger guard, commonly used to pin a locking block and frame rails in place. No plate for the serial number. It isn't an OEM slide as there are no markings. I've used one of those slides before, but damned if I can remember the name/source right now.
LET'S GO BRANDON!
no, this isn't in support of the future director of the ATF. It's begging.
There's no metal plate where you can serialize your gun. I believe that all commercial 80% frames have the plate.
So what's the law? You can make your own guns but they have to be serialized/serializable?
@@stopthephilosophicalzombie9017 That's not what he is saying. He's saying an 80% frame for commercial sale would have the plate, a home made 3d print frame would not. Since the gun in the pic does not have a plate, it must be a 3d print.
Yes all commercial 80% frames have a plate so you can serialize them.
@@stopthephilosophicalzombie9017 In some states I believe yes, hence the commercially available 80% blanks have the metal plate present.
@@lrh411 Yeah that was what I was asking; I didn't know if there was a law that all home made guns had to be serialized (seems silly but exactly like something the government would require).

That is 100% a ChairmanWon DD19 V1 3d printed frame. The 3d2a community zeroed in on little details immediately.
The talking head mentioned he had a 3D printed gun and a 3D printed suppressor. IIRC He was quoting a NYC prosecutor or some other person. Maybe they were guessing that it was a 3D printed suppressor.
Anything "gun" without a serial number is one of them scary 3d prints to them. Put an oil filter on a gun and they will call it 3d printed.
Another “issue” is with a 3D printer I can easily convert a semi-automatic weapon in to full automatic.
I’m former military so I’m aware of the issues with “Spray & pray”. However it will be an issue for law enforcement.

He's not an "Alleged suspect". He is simply the "Suspect". You won't get in trouble for calling him "Suspect".
Now, if you say, "The Perpetrator", or "The guy that did it", or "The mur... guy", you can get in trouble. But "Suspect" already includes the idea of "Alleged".
The frame looks like a modified polymer 80, the square mag release. The beaver tail looks like it is built up with epoxy or jb weld and sanded down
I don't see the area where a serial number can be engraved, I agree, it looks printed.
@@alanmeyers3957 That extra material in the beaver tail could be the result of the plastic sagging a bit when printing a steep overhang.

Arrogance is strong with this one
So the frame may have been printed, the slide wasn't... the barrel wasn't. If he tossed it in a lake, it may have been a problem tracing it to him, but that's not what happened. Oh, but he had a gun without a background check. So what he had no criminal record and could have passed a background check and bought a new glock six months ago. Or simply bought a stolen gun last week. Either way, his victim would still have three bullets in his back.
Right. No amount of 2A infringement stops this.
interesting thought....
It will surely disappear after the trial...
The slide is definitely a patmos arms slide as a lot of other folks are saying. Looks identical to my 19 slide from patmos
The government is probably going to restrict on those 3d printers. 🤔
They won’t show a pic of the tube because it was broken and they don’t want to show that it failed. They want people to believe that printed tubes are perfectly reliable and therefore should be “banned”.
I recognize that frame, its a 3d printed dd19.2. Its a super common file online.
lol yup! I got the same exact frame too

Kinda looks like a grip safety that was modified on the beavertail.
What's going on there on yalls?
@ I do too, same stipple as well just in od green instead of black, I still need a rail kit for it so. Better get on that before they all sell out after this.
@ it’s a Glock, there is no grip safety. The only safety is the trigger safety.
The pictured firearm DOES NOT look like one in the assignation video.

Yes, it does. It's always looked like a Glock because it is a "Glock".
Specifically, a 3D printed "Glock" clone.
A few days ago THEY said it was definitely a veterinarian gun. Had pictures of it and everything. This ain’t the same gun
Free Luigi!!! Corporate America needed a wakeup call.
Nothing better. Gloat my friend.
I believe you are absolutely right about everything...
I heard the gun he was caught with, wasn't the one used on the CEO. Anyone else hear that?
PSR had a 3D printer silencer & if built right they’re surprisingly durable (not as durable as metal obviously).
Lol I thought about PSR also, PSR just mentioned about it last night on his video post.

Has he been charged for having a non-NFA registered suppressor? Looking at the charges I can’t see one that I think is specifically for the suppressor.
The grip was definitely 3d printed, you can see the layer lines on the inside of the grip at the bottom
It would be VERY stupid to print a frame/receiver out of PLA, it would snap the first time you fired it.
Magwell looks like clear signs of 3D-printed
That grip/frame doesn' t look like any factory job -nothing that ugly wouild make it in the marketplace
Your analysis on that is impecable and the discussion of the suppressor is bang on also, A home -grown silencer is premative tech with the only challenge being getting a threaded mount to fit the threaded barrel . The notion that any commercial suppressor company would attain instant Gun! Control! celebrity is unquestionably true. It would become as reviled as the erzatz HoMe Boy nite site.
