Trampled by turtles always reminds me of when things were easier. When I could roam the streets barefoot and not care about a damn thing, except being home before the street lights came on. They remind me of that time I lived in NC and would hike for hours jumping off random waterfalls. They remind me of that time this girl broke my heart but reminded me of the great memories we had. They remind me of the times when things were easier.
❤I love the symbolism of "people being tied to things and other people". Some ties are broken, some are created, some are maintained and some ties, eventually, end forever...The graveyard scene just choked me up. Beautiful songwriting!

I listened to this in October (approximately) when "my person" was still alive... She died suddenly on 11/13/19..., just listened again and this song/video took on a deeper meaning..., and sadder.
