Reverse engineer what I've written (expand the brackets): (x+3)(5x-2) Multiply the (x+3) by the 5x and multiply the (x+3) by the -2 5x(x+3) - 2(x+3) So we can factorise 5x(x+3) - 2(x+3) by noticing that both the 5x(x+3) and the 2(x+3) have (x+3) as a factor. We pull it out of a large bracket: (x+3)( ... ) and inside the 2nd bracket goes the 5x and the -2.
Great video sir good job well explained!!
Good video well explained sir. I wish my TH-cam channel was as big as yours. I really wanna get monitised on TH-cam asap.
You explained everything so well then failed to explain the final step!? @ 6:27
Reverse engineer what I've written (expand the brackets):
(x+3)(5x-2)
Multiply the (x+3) by the 5x
and multiply the (x+3) by the -2
5x(x+3) - 2(x+3)
So we can factorise 5x(x+3) - 2(x+3) by noticing that both the 5x(x+3) and the 2(x+3) have (x+3) as a factor. We pull it out of a large bracket: (x+3)( ... ) and inside the 2nd bracket goes the 5x and the -2.
