I feel like the argument that Sukuna can take over other people's bodies via cursed fingers wouldn't work against Buu, since he's a magical creature with full control over his body, and Baby in GT literally tried this shit on him and failed, so he'd probably just spit the finger back out

My issue in the Fanfiction section is that it's assuming Sukuna could over power their soul.
Which if it's even Saiyan Saga Goku his body and soul are connected to each other. Meaning Sukuna still has to fight Goku for control.
Yeah, Babidi was the most powerfull sorcerer in dbz verse and vegeta had to let babidi control him, and even then he just shrugged babidis mind control off and said, fuck this, I just want to fight Goku.
Even when a saiyan let himself be controled he is NOT controled, I dont think people aknowledge how powerfull the sayans minds are with those fanfics, they always use some mind trick as a weapon against saiyans as if they are just strong brainless dudes.

One thing i disagree with is that sukuna outspeeds the 22nd world tournament characters.
Goku was able to run to roshi, take his sun glasses, and use them to negate rhe solar flare technique. All that movement occurring AFTER it was fired. Meaning goku and those at that level and beyond were all massively faster than light
I haven’t watched DB in a while but Goku managed to beat a famous martial artist and actor in a couple of punches that were so fast the crowd believed it was a single punch thrown.

I don’t like light speed sukuna, the three obvious things people will say to the kashimo em waves thing would be:
1. He was aim dodging
2. EM waves are only light speed in a vacuum
3. “If I can dodge a ball moving at 100 mph does that make me 100mph”
All these arguments work well enough to debunk it for me. But the real thing that makes me hesitant to say he’s light speed, is that it would tear JJK scaling apart at the seams.
If Sukuna is light speed than a bunch of people become WAY faster than we know they are. In the fight after his fight with kashimo people like Itadori, Maki, Kusakabe, ETC are atleast keeping up with sukuna.
That along with the three more obvious reasons listed above, generally has me keeping sukuna at island level and somewhere in the massively hypersonic ranges.
I know you said you’d make a video addressing one of the claims I made, but until it comes out I don’t know how to justify lightspeed sukuna

Sometime you might want to consider. Ki attacks are pure heat. I think gohan tries to cook something with a blast during the cell saga but ends up burning it, like, not pulverized, it gets burnt, so it's safe to assume that if a character can handle a ki blast capable of making the moon explode then they can handle a level of heat necessary to do that, to make an example

If this is the case, he has a laundry list of hax to overcome the AP difference. That's what he can do against Nappa. Again, I'm not convinced that he's lightspeed, but that's just me. Realistically, Sukuna gets to Tien and then gets hard blitzed and one shot.

@@hm9934 To be honest with you, people have been calling that feat an outlier, so I purposely left it out. I do think it's a legitimate feat though, because:
1. Goku grabbed the glasses and returned before Roshi realized where his glasses went
2. He put the glasses on before the light reached his eyes
But yeah, if we're granting lightspeed to characters during the 23rd Budokai, then again, Sukuna gets wasted.

Why is everybody keep ignoring things like Goku dodging a laser beam from general Black. These kinds of videos are full of assumptions, so Goku being light speed as early on as the RR army arc is completely valid. Also, ki attacks with the ability not only to destroy stuff but vaporize them seems hot enough in my book. This seems like a lot of misinterpretation (or maybe biased) towards presented characters

My problem is Sukuna being faster than light would just make absolutely no sense in jjk and everyone he was and is fighting.
The top tiers are already MHS and are currently facing a heavily weakened Sukuna, plus they outnumber him. I have a separate video planned to discuss the speeds but I think it’s reasonable

i think sukuna being even being near lightspeed is overtly exaggerated. yes, kashimo was dishing out em waves but, we gotta recall that maki is just somewhat above mach 3 and she can actually react to sukuna's attacks. and sukuna was stated to be pretty much the same in stats as when he fought kashimo. gege already stated when maki caught mai's bullet that the speed feat was exaggerated.
You have to remember that Sukuna isn't actually fighting them. He's just fucking around.
He could've instantly killed Maki if he wanted since he still had enough CE to use domain expansion(multiple times) and flames, he just chose to play around with her. He was probably slowing himself down so she could keep up.
@@goofy855 he got stabbed in the heart and had to dedicate alot of ce to pump it, so domain was out of question at the time. he was only able to use domain due to black flashes increasing his ce/ ce output and he landed black flashes on her which would infer he's actually fighting because a black flash occur in the heat of the moment.

Haven’t watched the complete video yet but I like how you started saying that he will make it even farther than Gojo. We are talking a nerfed down Sukuna here, obviously weaker than Gojo and one could argue, more easily scalable to Dragon Ball because his powers are more “fighting” like.
But he is still a character from another series, so there are other factors to consider than just brute strength, so I’m curious to see how you arrived at that conclusion.
Now what would be interesting is how Toji would fare. Since you have likened cursed energy to ki before (just so comparisons could be made), he would be the equivalent of a fighter displaying ki enhanced prowess without actually emitting ki, kind of like the androids. Without any bells and whistles, he would probably make it up until the Saiyan saga at most, but it would still be interesting to see.
Unless he “trains” in Dragon Ball, which is something I could see Toji doing.
Me personally, he stops the frieza Saga because your frieza get pissed off he’ll blow up the planet and he’s booked for stronger and faster than him

Movement speed and reaction/fighting speed are different. Think Baseball and Baseball Bat.
Scale Sukuna lower? Why? Maki is nowhere close to even being an equal to weakened, exhausted Sukuna.

Well they dont tell us but it seems the heat resistance is probably pretty big by the Namek Saga especially with a shield and some would say things looked kinda burnt after Ki Attacks and they are energy attacks so perhaps they are also hot even if contained and he swats them away with his hands and they have the energy to teh weakest destroy a moon

Interesting video, but I do have some things to say (no offense).
1. There is a higher end scaling for Gojo's combat speed through his teleportation. Base off the original japanese text from JJK which is (瞬間移動/Shunkan Utsuri dō) it translates to "instantaneous teleportation" (according to Google translate), and Gojo is able to use it in close quarter combat and the fact that Sukuna was still able to keep up with him saids a lot about his speed.
2. There are three ways to scale Sukuna's strength and power.
(Low-end scaling)
In chapter 221 after Gojo was unsealed from the prison realm he finds himself 8,000 meters underwater in the "Japanese Trench" in the "Subduction Zone", and when he left and met up with Kenjaku he effortlessly created an earthquake that reached all the way to the "Saitama Prefecture" and the highest calculations for this feat puts it around island level. Sukuna not only scales to this but above it since he is stronger than Gojo who performed this feat.
(Mid-end scaling)
The durability/HP of JJK characters scales higher than their AP which is proven through "Black Flash" which in chapter 48 stated that impact of it is equal to a normal hit to the power of 2.5 which is insane.
Example 1: Geto took a black flash from Yuta to the face and not only survived but was still able to keep on fighting. In JJK 0 it was stated that Rika could have destroyed a whole town (I personally think this downplays their power since Rika scales above the Disaster Curses but for the sake of argument I'll roll with it) but they never said how big the town was so I will scale this by starting from the low to mid to high end scaling.

Small town level
4.184×10^12 to 2.42672×10^13 joules ^2.5 = 3.58079×10^31 to 2.901×10^33 joules: small planet to planet level.
Town level
2.42672×10^13 to 4.184×10^14 joules ^2.5 = 2.901×10^33 to 3.58079×10^36 joules: planet to large planet level.
Large town level
4.184×10^14 to 4.184×10^15 joules ^2.5 = 3.58079×10^36 to 1.132×10^39 joules: large planet to darf star level.
Keep in mind that Kenjaku who had possession of Geto's body was going to be killed by Gojo in one punch and Sukuna effortlessly dodged it, this tells us that Gojo and Sukuna's AP and durability/ HP scale extremely higher than the other JJK characters.
Example 2: Hanami is comparable to Jogo in strength so she would be around small-city level and Yuji was able to keep up with her in their fight so he too would scale to it, thus Yuji's Black Flashes would be around darf star levels of AP and Hanami took five of them which by adding up be around small-star level and she was still able to keep on fighting after that. We all know Gojo would have been able to effortlessly one shot her without having to give it his all, and Sukuna is stronger than Gojo.
(High-end scaling)
In the "JJK S1 animation guide" stated that in the manga infinite void was depicted as a blank void with an expanding swath of the universe and the director Sunghoo Park wanted it to look more godly so he consulted Gege Akutami about it and he gave him some ideas which resulted in the final product, if the constructs of a domain scale to the one who cast them then this proves that both Gojo and Sukuna are universal.
An example of this being the case would be in chapter 234 when Gojo used "Maximum Output: Blue" to destroy "Chimera Beast: Agito" who earlier in the chapter survived a Black Flash from Gojo, and while the Black Flash did tore a hole in its gut the shikigami was able to effortlessly heal from it where with the MO: Blue it wasn't able to do so. This tells us that both Gojo and Sukuna's maximum output of their techniques are not only able to match but surpass the output of a Black Flash.
I'll leave it up to you to decide which one is most likely true.

Imagine you're fighting a guy with the exact capabilties you have but you're edging him (pause) in experience and winning then he just decides to get 50x stronger, then 100x stronger, then 400x stronger, then 1000x stronger, then 5000x stronger, then 100000x stronger. Yikes I'd cry.

They were blowing up moons and mountains since the World Tournaments. mahoraga may be able to adapt, but if he gets blasted with a moon-level kamehameha there's gonna be nothing to adapt FROM. PLUS sealing was a thing, so if sukuna goes all "Hahah, you are beating me up but I'll just heal!" THey can just seal him.

4:29 to be fair i think the characters are mostly reacting to the cursed energy spark rather than pure lightning itself, but you could argue those sparks dont apply to kashimo’s basic electric attack, since it isn’t a technique activation itself
I’ve heard that the world dismantling slash doesn’t actually negate defense. It was developed to specifically negate infinity, so what it actually does is travel an infinite distance to “travel” behind gojo, thus bypassing infinity and slashing.
It has to negate defense, Gojo was able to tank malevolent shrine without infinity active.
@@HabitualThinker In fairness, the moment World Slash was used, it was on a exhausted Gojo who just got recoil damage from his own Hollow Purple on Sukuna.
Thats compared to Gojo near the start of the fight when using RCT to soak up the Malevolent Shrine damage.
