I have tried several different storage systems for kitting up and just recently picked up the Elizabeth Ward ones. I absolutely love it! It will be my go to storage system for kitting up going forward. 👋
Thx 4 sharing! This video was very informative. I have 2 EW style storage systems & a few other sryle systems so I have enough as far as I'm concerned. I love DAC and I love their canvas kit quality. This where I think they shine the best! Hope u are having a great week!😀
Hi Katie, I’m someone who’s used the flat end of the LEGO tool to open the DAC storage containers and it works amazingly. I’ve also used the plastic straighteners that come with some diamond painting pens and that works great too!
Hi Katie, I bought the dac ones using points and mix and match. Using it now and love it. I too wish they had xs size and am thinking of get EW xs cause you can by those seperately. I have see EW sets in the 40 dollar range. Amazon is probably cheaper for everyone on all kits and I am going to check that out because as of yesterday this storage was sold out DAC's website. Loved your dragon and the comparison and review of DAC's storage. I have no problems opening the containers. From your first video the first thing I did when I received it was open each container a few times.
If you can mix and match the two types, try turning the Elizabeth Ward containers on their sides.. The trays might be a little less secure (half height) but will then hold more containers.
I want to try the storage..but I am like you. I have several storage containers already.. and even with the 20% off $36 is still quite a bit so I don’t know I still might try it. Also, the Elizabeth Ward is easy to take with me because they’re shorter, easy to put in my craft bag
Hi Katie, I really enjoy your videos. You are so good about talking about the beautiful kits. I especially love the whips and hearing about the kids. Please know that I'm praying that your husband finds work real soon. Has he looked at a possible career change? I don't know what his talents are, but it's a thought. I do have a question. I was looking at the videos you did a couple of years ago on a cross stitch conversion. I know you put it away indefinitely, but I was wondering if you ever started a new one? If so, when and you direct me to that playlist. Best wishes, Sue
I had just bought my first Elizabeth Ward storage when DAC came out with these 😅 I was really excited until I saw the price 🙃 I'm really pucky when it comes to accessories and storage for diamond painting because I always think to myself "that money could've gone towards a diamond painting" 😂 I would like to try their storage someday but the price point would have to go down or there would have to be a good sale. Plus, like you, I have enough storage for now and don't need more lol
I have tried and love the DAC storage. I haven’t tried the other that you mentioned. I have the cylindrical tubes with the screw on lids that I also like, and the plastic trays with that hold 5 rows of 4 containers that I don’t love.
I like the sideways (EW) more, if I have a canvas that uses more than the case fits I put some upright and put the label on the lid. I also feel because the EW lay flat and you have more space for the label is very nice and gives a more clear searching field for your eyes. but that's a personal thing. The price of the DAC container is insane, I bought 3 sets of different EW for that price that I now mix and match depending on the canvas. And that's even without DAC shipping prices on top of that.
Hi Katie. About the storage containers, Temu (if you don't mind shopping at) has a set of 78 just small ones for about $23. Love your videos and I also love dragons.
I bought my first through Temu 48 pieces that look exactly like the one on her left. $14 (of course it's often catching the right time) but it was shipped from here in America so it came about a week before the rest of my order.
I enjoyed your video... I find I wish Diamond Art had made a kit like Harbor Freight's containers. I have the Harbor Freight containers and I think Diamond Art could have improved them. My Harbor Freight containers drills get caught up around the rim/lid.
The DAC storage is like eye shadow pallets. Hard to open at first but gets easier with time. I would love the lids in diff colors like neon green, blue, purple or orange or clear to make it more gender neutral.
I am newer to DP so I am not as accustomed to one style of storage. Since I am new, I don't notice a major difference between the two. And as of today 9/11/2024 there is still the 20% off coupon.
I’m having an issue with static electricity when opening my bead packets. The bead cling to the plastic and make a big mess getting them into a container. There are like jumping beans. Any suggestions?
Type in static drills and it will pull up any video that talk about that particular problem (actually this is useful for any trouble shooting needed). I use dryer sheets, for me it's cheap and no mess. Some people use static spray some use isopropyl (rubbing alcohol) and a q-tip.
i have 2 EW style kits and 3 DAC kits. I do like the containers that lay sideways as well. If DAC does make the smallest containers, I hope they can be bought loose so I can add them to the cases I already have.
Your honesty is refreshing, thank you 😊.
I wish we got DAC reward points for shopping on Amazon. 😂
At first I was wondering what it was. But then I started seeing the dragon. It came out pretty good.

Great video and discussion as always
Hi Katie, I feel the same way I have already invested in the EW system I would never change, in fact I would look for more.....😊

They have it 20 percent off of Amazon. The DAC containers.

I always appreciate your reviews.
Thank you, Katie for the review🙏🙏🙏

When you turned that XS Elizabeth Ward tray sideways and dropped it in the DAC storage unit my jaw hit the floor! LOL, that was genius!
I use my reward points to shop the storage box and I like the boxes. So I want get more one by one with my points 😉

I saw those been wondering

I’m wondering if you could use the small EW containers upright in the DAC tray. I have mostly EW trays and containers now and I love them!

I would really like the option to buy smaller containers for my set.

Hello, do you seal square diamond art club paintings?
I’ve gotten EW for $18, and a knock-off for $10.
I’m having an issue with static electricity when opening my bead packets. The bead cling to the plastic and make a big mess getting them into a container. There are like jumping beans. Any suggestions?

I definitely won't buy the DAC storage system. It costs nearly 90 AUD. Like, yeah, no.

Good morning! i need to get this one. its so cute.
