@@John336NLT Im not old but i don't walk well and i love this stuff. It warms my heart when i do knowing im preventing a beachgower from stepping on sharp metal objects.....too many of them on the beach. Awesome video
I have to agree with you, it seemed like a much more natural detecting day instead of just cutting to the good targets. You did a really good video. Keep up the great work.
made it to the end. i enjoy watching to see how much junk was dug up also. i started detecting this summer and seeing others going thru lots of junk keeps me motivated to dig more signals.
You are doing a great job. I can’t get out there to metal detect. Watching your videos is my enjoyment that doesn’t expend a lot of energy. Thank you. God’s blessings on you all.
I just bought a simplex +, I have a old metal detector from the early 90 that picked up from a garage sell. I’m been watching your videos since I started. I’ve learned a lot from you. The best picker I’ve had so far is a A.A coin (Someone fell off the wagon) lol good video though 👍
Happy to hear you've picked up a few things! Simplex is a really strong machine for the price, just stay with it... the goodies will soon come! A.A coin is pretty neat!
Awesome hunt Austin! You always have to dig the trash no matter what. Who else is going to clean up the earth a little? We are. Great video and editing. 💖💯
I am usually seeing your your uploads on a smart television and don't post a comment. But being at work, on lunch break, and have the time I'll do it now. #1. I watch all of your uploads to the end. #2. You have the detectorists' ethic I wish everyone out there digging would follow. (I've been at it now since the 80's). #3. Reality of the hunt? You betcha. That's the way it is. No fluff, except for the plug. #4. You do an excellent job in relating what it is you're doing with the machine you use. (I got a good orientation with the Simplex and Legend machines just by watching your uploads). It's beyond me why in the world you don't get more views than what you do. Same goes for Merrill, Paystreak and all the 'reality of the hunt' type people who share real world metal detecting and their time creating good, I mean good, content. Don't change bro, no need. I hope you see this comment, I've been intending to do so for some time. Later.
Watched it to the end.. just started digging myself.. that’s a nice cross!! So far I have only found a few quarters, dimes, Pennie’s, no Nickels yet, a Tech deck skate board, and a Cars car!! Oh lord and lord of pull tabs, aluminum cans, pop tops, and foil.
Hi, I just discovered your channel and I happened to see this two week old episode. Do you keep your OLD pulltabs? I have a friend who collects old pull tabs like the Busch one you dug. Do you ever sell those? I’d love to get it for him. He would be so stoked!
That oddity was an old hoek from a ladies suspender belt for holding up nilon stockings, there were 4 on the belt , each hoek would hoek on a button back and front that was sewn on to the stocking to hold them up.
Love watching these. Reading Ozzy Osbourne's book, and the number of times Sharon Osbourne chucked their $20,000 plus engagement ring because he'd done something stupid. He didn't bother to go and look for it.
I'm a total beginner but I'm well aware that I have to put 7n some time. I've inky been in a handful of hunts and I love it. I just have to find decent hunting spots. Theres treasure here but there's more trash.
For me it really seems like just right place at the right time.. sometimes the "worst spots" produce the best for me. Just never know where the goodies will be! Lots of trash here too...
Heya, I was checking out this park called Bartley park (or something close, idrk) and it had a couple old pull tabs. It's a high trash area but it seems like a good place ^^
@@TreasureOutdoors I had a Garrett. My house was old 1840's. Found a half penny in awful condition. But without the detector I also found the graveyard of old bottles. I must of dug down 4 feet. It was fun then but couldn't do it now. 🙂
42:26 that’s the most coins I’ve ever seen you dig up so far! You really need to go back to this area, BECAUSE you found quite a bit AND you have clear video footage. 🤔 wonder what happened today with your live? 1/30/2024
First thing I did when I got my detector was go searching in the backyard first thing I found was a quarter and then the children and grandchildrens matchbox cars
Those zinc pennies aren't very durable. I live hundreds of miles from salt water, and they still just toasted in a couple of years in the clay here too. Pure garbage. If I'm cherry-picking a public park or something, I notch them out on my Deus 2 and just dig copper penny and above signals. I know I'm loosing a few other coins when I do it, but spending 85% of my digging time pulling toasted zincs doesn't really gain me much either. As a compromise, I'll open up my nickel range a little extra. I'd rather dig a possible pulltab/nickel/jewelery/foil signal, than a guaranteed zinc penny signal. I'll gladly leave those behind for others to dig if they want. I'm generous like that.
I’m old and crippled,so I can’t go metal detecting. I live vicariously through your videos. Thank you for that.
Same boat, I want to get out and do this while I can still walk

Made it to the end. I always enjoy your videos, they are real. Good, bad and the ugly. Not everything is great.
Def go back to that beach.
Love your videos. Got a metal detector after watching. Found a new passion. Thanks. I live on the treasure coast so maybe I will find something cool!
Hope you have fun out there!

Hey i just bought the nokta first swing for my son to do father and son detecting, you inspired me sir.
Made it to the end, really enjoyed it 👍
Watched til end. Quality video bro. I enjoyed it and subscribed
Thanks, enjoyed the video
You found an old beach that hasnt been pounded ovee the years by other detectorist. In Florida. Dude thats amazing.
That oddity was an old hoek from a ladies suspender belt for holding up nilon stockings, there were 4 on the belt , each hoek would hoek on a button back and front that was sewn on to the stocking to hold them up.
Nice ID, thanks!
My oldest clad beach coin was a 1941 nickel, I guess I could call it a prewar nickel since we didn’t actually declare war until December 8, 1941.
Nice video, I have gotten interested in digging. I like that you record the hunt too.
We made it ! I always wanted to do this. Nice cross..
Great video. Loved the hunt. 🌞

Made it to the end
To the end...to start again!
Saludos cordiales desde Chile 🙋♂️👍🇨🇱👏👌
Great video. Looks like you had a fun day!
Nice hunt with the Deus2. Time of year you have to grind for targets 👋👍
Great video and another good hunt I thought the Squeaker caption was cool
Nice video..lots coins 😀
I made it!! 😊
I made it to the end but I think I'm talking to myself 😂😂😂
You worked hard on this hunt!!
I like the finds, mostly it amazes me how thin they get in the south.
Thanks for the hunt!!

Seems like lots of the hits were really deep on that stretch of beach. Made you work for the foil cap.
What mode were you detecting in?
Great video, man!
Nice cross !
I usually hit the beaches 4 to 7 hrs when I go
Love the videos
Nice work !👍👍👍
Keep dig
Good jub
The unknown thing could be a ladies garter strap for a button . The bit of Iron could be meteorite. The cross could be 19 carat white gold .
Heya, I was checking out this park called Bartley park (or something close, idrk) and it had a couple old pull tabs. It's a high trash area but it seems like a good place ^^
My dad drank a lot of beer in the 70s and I have never seen a pull tab like that
This was interesting. My son had a metal detector and found it was not as easy to find things as he thought it would be.
There's a lot of JUNK out there but spend enough time and the good stuff will reveal itself... :)
When a bullet shell have a lateral percusion poke hole its a .22 ,otherwise its in the center.
Time saver: when you pull your scoop check hole before you dump. especially if you are rinsing instead of pinpointing.
Thanks for the tip!
nice vid
Your detector doesn’t have the display like others do? I haven’t seen one without it. But good video!!
This machine is kind of interesting, you can run it WITH or WITHOUT the numbers. Depends on how we're feeling that day! :)
That trash pays off, just not often. Dig what you can. Like a slot machine it takes one time and boom gold
What beach was this? I'm going to visit the beaches this September.
I think this was Fred Howard. Wish you lots of luck wherever you end up!
The buckle could be off a dive mask. It kind of looks like a spectacle buckle but I don't know it that area if old enough for a colonial buckle.
Hope your day was a winner with the cross & coins.
Hi, fun watching you find stuff. What kind of hand held detector is that you use? thanks
The small one is called a Pinpointer :)

Take your little cross to a jeweler and have them clean it in their ultrasonic cleaner it is much safer than anything we can do.
The second buckle is from suspenders
👍👍👍🤠
What do u consider an ancient coin or anything?
I like seeing the trash come out too.
What program are you using?
Beach sensitive + pitch tones :)
Rock pplisher and ultrasonic cleaner great tools of th trade! .. there's your comment!
Absolutely need to pick me up one.. or both!
@@TreasureOutdoors rock polisher cleans the clad and unique pieces of much corrosion whereas the ultrasonic cleaner makes muddied jewelry like new..
29:46.... I swear that is a Buffalo nickel
What do you use too film live ?
For LIVE I use my phone but for most of my videos I use a Gopro Hero 7 Black.
42:26 that’s the most coins I’ve ever seen you dig up so far!

Matt congratulations on all your finds. Best of luck on your next journey…
te pregunto con seriedad son realmentte ciertos estos aparatos detectores responde me por favor y si tie.nes alguno de preferenciA GRACIAS
What state are you in?
First thing I did when I got my detector was go searching in the backyard first thing I found was a quarter and then the children and grandchildrens matchbox cars
Looking at all the pull tabs it surprises me you didn’t find a ring.
I can bet there's some out there...
Nice not 2 c stop and start, view of area would be nice.
U like that deus better than 800

before i get into video, no one detects for 5hrs in the same spot unless its producing or its a once in a lifetime hunt
Use tarnex.Or jewelry cleaner
I think it a buckle
Where do u buy that Jewlers magnifying deal. I need one cuz my eyes are going bad from diabetes
Dog collar?
Looks like an old sadle buckle
Nice car tho.
Looks like a Fanny pack strap buckle
Hey, I don't know if you know this, but you're not supposed to rub the coins.
