Why RWBY Volume 9 is the Worst Season Yet

- I have always been a big fan of RWBY, even during the post monty seasons. However Volume 9 was such a huge let down for me, I decided to make a video about it.

Left this series a while ago, when they pulled the last straw of "killing" our Qrow of interest with his thing, and the penny waste, and all that season ... can't even remember what season it was, but, i just hope for a reboot with Chainsaw-Man's studio and/or other studio that can do 3D battles, and some Monty Oum fans in the industry hired to reimagine his vision of this show, and we delete almost everything past season 4/5 ...
That's too much wishful thinking. But someone who used to work on RWBY with a name that's got something with "Goo" wants to obtain the rights of RWBY. Their animations look sick. It's no chainsaw man but honestly, I personally want more 3d fights with the quality of volume 3 fight scenes or RWBY Red/White/Black/Yellow trailers quality. As cool as it would be for MAPPA to work on it, it's wishful thinking and honestly not fitting either.
Yeah, I was so done when they turned Qrow into a brainless idiot who sides with the murderous psychopath that almost killed his niece to take down his best friend. Penny's second death and Ironwood's character assassination were the icing on the shit cake.
Now it's finally over. Good riddance. I don't even feel bad for RT. They disrespected Monty's legacy in any possible way and mistreated their own staff horribly for years. They got what they deserved and they ruined their own property to the point that nobody wants to buy the IP for RWBY.
@@essentialcollectibles2153 I think we should give up on hoping for Volume 10 to ever happen. Who would even want that? The die-hard fans that bully everyone who doesn't agree with them? The story is a total mess, the characters are either ruined or barely functional because they have no personality left. The only way RWBY could be saved is by getting a reboot with new writers. Start from scratch, give it a new title and perhaps a new style.
This whole season felt like filler; nothing really changes for the overall plot of the show and for the characters. The only story that mattered in V9 was the back story of the cat and the creation of the universe, but that story could have been condensed just a tad and shoved in anywhere, didn’t need a whole season to explain it. There was tons of potential for character development, but by the end of the volume, Jaune and Ruby both just went back to the way they were. My biggest gripe is just the finale fight when Ruby comes back, could have been an amazing moment for Ruby to have some amazing new power or something, but ultimately it was just nothing.
I've watched Ruben's volume one myself. I was so excited when you showed all the trailers for the characters building up some sort of backstory with them as he released more and more it was awesome. But as I watch the series and begin to see a lot of problems storylines cut out, character aspects dropped we're completely changed, and entire plot holes just thrown into the ocean holping no one look. My excitement turned to just being melancholy. In the end, I'm still going to watch Volume 10 however all the reviews I've watched Ruby over the years are ironically the same pointing out the same problems and those problems haven't changed yet, Jello Apocalypse puts it the best 😮💨.

Honestly I liked volume 9, the fights were amazing. Although Volume 9 is the volume of Ruby snapping, becoming "homophobic" with the whole Bumblebee being canon. I got shocked when Yang just said "hey" and that was it. Also i felt bad for Jaune, he still suffered a lot and never got into it again.
How is the Jaune hoodie? It looks nice.
It's pretty good. I may have ordered a bigger size because without the armor on, it looks pretty big. Other than that, I like it. It's great for cosplay.
V4 was Yangs breakdown and Blake was in between V4 and V5, with Weiss still going strong but....Ruby never broke down because she pretended to be fine and the perfect Leader. V9 was Jaune and Rubys turn to finally crack and come out stronger on the other end (Still desperatly needing therapy, mind you)
Comparing what happens in the Show and what happens in RT as a company is just asinine as it has, or at least should have, 0 correlation....remember correlation is not causation
Jaune and Ruby both blew up because He had no outlet for his frustrations and guilt for years (and Miles NAILED this scene btw) and Ruby never deals with any of the stuff that happens to them, just pressing on and pretending to be fine (Actualy was decently set up at V8)
The Finale felt rushed, I do agree there, Summers words should have been foreshadowed more or another episode that delved deeper into why Ruby never deals with anything would have helped but there is only so much time you have for a show
Neo, while a fun villain because she never talks, was always weak in motivation and yet op in a fight because...plot. I like her but not as much as the Fanbase seems to
All in all I love V9. We got BB confirmed (10 years of background was not sublte enogh for some -.-) and now know the origin of the whole f*cking Universe that gives us TONS of possibilities for later volumes and lots of things to like. V4 and 5 are still far worse, droping the writing quality, draging out the "qrow is hurt" BS and splitting the Team far to long with a dissatisfactory resolution, missing a talk with BB about why Yang forgave Blake so easy (When the Song "All that matters" tells a better Story than a season...you gone fucked up) or just a simple team sit down and talk what happend to them...but a hug is enough to convey all of that, i guess
Dude, don't be nice to rooster teeth and RWBY, it's been disappointing for a long time now, so it's best for season 10 to not happen and rooster teeth to go out of business. Because the RWBY is just a zombified franchise

Yeah I stopped watching when they introduced the principal as being inside someones head, magical girl power and complately butchured the blake and (that guy with the mask cant remember) arc.
Their character design also whent downhill around that point so.
But it's nice to see they havent stopped trying to revive the dead horse.
I stopped after the election arc, and yeah, hearing whats happening makes it sound like they just can't break the 4-person formation now. We had 2 pair going through arcs in the past but now ruby n juan just cant break away from the group n grow like another show that seems to not be able to pull away from for example steven universe, it just cant move the camera away from steven for a minute and because of that either the charater development is off screen or its never touched appon till steven is around and the catalyst of the change
Thank god 😂 that season is a failure.
Season 1-3 are the best action comedy is the formula.

I think I'd have liked it if the show had gone the way of "girl band with a dinosaur" instead of Cinder's power trip fueled terror attack.
Ruby thinking that she doesn't need to change at all and that she's perfect the way she is, is just insulting to the viewers' intelligence. Friendly reminder: she stole an airship, severely damaged a giant mecha and endangered countless civilians during the leviathan attack, lied to Ironwood and indirectly caused the destruction of both Atlas and Mantle with her decisions. I'm pretty sure she made even more stupid decisions, but these were the most infuriating ones.
If someone needs to change more than anyone else, it's Ruby! She's a menace to society!

I dropped the show a while back, lost interest and found the dragon prince. For those who have not watched it, I highly recommend it.
For once the algorithm made me stumble upon a gem of a video with little to no views. You good Sir/Madam are worthy of praise for this video, thumbnail, narration and everything.
If I can give one teeny tiny suggestion: you look very robotic with your movement. Maybe it's on purpose but at times it was off putting, maybe add some swing into those hips like you did in the transitions (loved those, awesome stuff!).
Still, will be looking forward to future videos and your backlog!

@2mccue4u27 basically after bb became canon. The VAs for yang and blake decided to celebrate the occasion by promoting bb merch on the rt store, do a special always open podcast episode talking about bb and its "journery" and an ONLYFANS photo shoot.
Vol 9 beats Vol 4 for becoming the Worst RWBY Volume of all time.
Eh, Volume 9 had potential but was horribly rushed. I'm not saying that it's the worst volume, but half of it is meh at most.

@@yuukianimates3318 CRWBY has said a lot of things over the past few years. I have learned to take what ever they say in PR with a grain of salt.
They didn't just start working on finding a buyer in recent months. They have been trying for well over 2 years now.
They are being more vocal about it now because they need to keep interest in the show. (That is what RWBY Beyond was for). If there is no quantifiable interest shown, it will be harder for potential investors to want to put any money into it. (Especially just to complete V10).
I'm no business professional, but that seems logical to me.
So when they say that "things are in the works", or "we are close", I say I will believe it when I see it.
You thought V8 was great, V9 worst?
The other way around for me. V8 was the worst. Followed closely by V7. Then V9.

I thought Volume 9 was fantastic
I thought V9 was bad. Just a filler volume. Which only served to bring BB to fruition and flip Neo. No advancement for the main story as everything is reset by the end.
It wasn't even completed properly because it was cut short by 2 chapters due to running out of money for production. Which is why it felt rushed in the second half.
As bad as V9 was, I thought it was marginally better than V7. And miles better than V8.
